FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
QAU IRC CHANNEL

Q. What does QAU stand for?

A. QAU is an abbreviation for the Quaid-i-Azam university, Islamabad, Pakistan.

Q. Who first thought of creating this channel?

A.The individual who came up with the idea of a distinctive chat channel for the students of Quaid-i-Azam university was himself a student of the Economics department of the university . . .
at that time he used the nick earthangel22 which he has recently changed to earthangel^

Q. Why is it eventful to have a channel for the university?

A. The channel is quite significant for the students of the university because it is here that they come together with old friends and make new ones. Many of the students move away to other cities and in some cases to other countries after their terms are over . . . the channel can be a very effective way of steadfastly gathering with old acquaintances and this is genuinely and plainly achieved with this channel of ours. This is one place you have to be at if you're a Quaidian and even if you're not, just drop in and see how we relate mutually with each other . . .

Q. How did this vision of earthangel22 turn into reality?

A. It all started when one day earthangel22, General-D and kingkafil sat on a bench outside the social huts - one of the many food and drink spots that QAU retains. They planned . . .  eagerly conferring the details of how it would all evolve. General-D had all the technical expertise to embark on such a venture . . . He is the irrefutable founder of the channel. These three pioneers became the first members of the channel-A channel that has given us (The Quaidians) so much to nurture and acclaim as our own. In the beginning and for a while to come they were the only members but they had faith and never gave up hoping that it would grow, which it certainly has since then. The rest of us had yet to discover what later turned out to be as much a part of our lives as the sun that comes out every morning. It's a place where as soon as the sun goes down, we can drift away . . . before we close our eyes, it's here that we live another day.
