On the night of Sunday April 25, 1999, two 15th floor members were arrested. Rampage member Dan of 1506 was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Rampage member Neal, formerly of 1511, was arrested for Drunk In Public.
From the eyes and ears of 1518, it all started around 11:30 at night, when violent screams and profanities were being shouted at Marty's (R.A.) door. This was followed by two glass bottles being broken against Marty's door. Come to find out, Dan (in a drunken rage) wanted revenge on Marty for being wrongly accused of using illegal substances the day before.
As Dan went on a drunken RAMPAGE through the hall, fire extinguishers and exit signs were ripped from the ceilings and walls. In doing this, he received a laceration to the hand and began bleeding uncontrolably. After Dave of 1518 attempted to control the bleeding, Dan continued his rampage throughout Rhoads Hall, causing minor damage to the 9th and 13th floors.
While Dan was rampaging throughout the building, a special guest appearance was made by Neal, who was earlier forced to move out because of other incidents. This got the floor even more pumped up. During Neal's special appearance, he added to the show by adding to the destruction. As the crowded floor watched, Neal succeeded in ripping the exit sign completely from the ceiling. In doing this, a bright flash and explosion went off as electrical wires were ripped apart. This in turn created a burnt electrical smell, and filled the floor with smoke.
After all had calmed down and nothing was left except for blood and destruction throughout the floor, Richmond's finest were spotted outside. 15th Floor Rampagers decided to crowd into the blood-covered elevator and take it to the ground level.
As we exited the building, we came to find one of our own being detained and resisting arrest from 5 officers. Neal interveined, pleading for Dan to remain calm and let the police do their job. As the number of on-lookers grew beyond the members of the 15th, the crowd started to get rowdy. By this time, the police count was 10+. 15th members and on-lookers began cheering in favor of Dan and the 15th floor. At this time, police took action and began crowd control and ordered everyone back inside.
As everyone entered the building, Neal was being questioned about what had happened. In being questioned, police picked up a scent of alcohol on his breath and Neal became a victim himself.
Before the night was over, two Rampagers had been arrested and were bound to spend the night behind bars. For other Rampagers, it was a hard sight to see two of our own being put into a Patty Wagon.
