How long to build a Champion Team ?

To be truthful this is actually the 3rd year of Blunt Views, we started back in 1995 as the unofficial Claymores Home Page. Then following the World Bowl Season (and the creation in the off season of Touchdown Claymores) we decided that it just wasn't enough to be a news service. We have opinions and there was nowhere we could voice them...... so The unofficial Claymores Home Page transformed from a rookie fans' page into Blunt Views a 2nd year pro. We created a whole new style, built a small fan base and allowed our readers to discuss the state of the sport.

More than that we attempted to form a community of fans at Claymores Home Games. Each homegame we would defiantly stand under our 'BLUNT ENDZONE' banner and be a point of contact for the Internet based fans of the WLAF. We wrote songs and sent people on stage at the backfield party. We tried to be something different. That was only the beginning.

This year season it's our 3 year. We've learnt from our rookie mistakes. We've practised our skills developed in our sophomore year. This is the break-out year. We've got a few surprises for you on our web site, using state of the art technology we aim to make this web page the best possible. We're recruiting a staff of writers to bring YOU a better informed view of football. We're widening our range to include other flavours of football. If you weren't a regular reader of Blunt Views before then it's time you got into the habit. We're even making it easier to read us , by the time the 1998 WLAF season starts you might be able to take us home in your pocket !

Our Claymores homegame backfield presence is hoping to be bigger and better. We might even manage an official Blunt Views gathering at an away game !

We'll try and remain innovative with our ideas - the Claymores Songs, the different narrative styles in our features, our visions for the future of the game.

Believe the HYPE...... Blunt Views is bigger and better than before.
