  • Entry fee Regulars owe me $20 for their share of the entry fee... Mark's on the installment plan for poor Cisco employees; everyone else has paid -- Thanks!! Cisco finally handed out their bonus checks, so Mark signed his over to me to cover his remaining debt... Well, almost, but I let the rest of it slide...

  • New rules this year:
    1. May play regular season games with 4 players if that's all you have (no forfeit unless only 3 in regular season, 4 in tournament)
    2. Have 8 seconds to toss serve (increased from 5)
  • Recall the new USVBA rules last year:
    1. No held ball at the net (you just fight for it until someone wins)
    2. Only one serve toss allowed (you cannot catch it or let it drop)
    3. Going over the center line under the net with a hand or foot is legal as long as you don't interfere with play on the other side. Elbows, Knees, or Spleens are still illegal.
  • My standard "captain's rule": I expect all regulars at every scheduled game unless you tell me in advance if possible so I can arrange lineups/subs if necessary... No-shows are NOT appreciated -- thanks for your cooperation! See the "Lineup" column in the schedule to see what I think your status is for each game. Subs are called as needed and I'll give you as much notice as possible; subs are also welcome to come to any practice...
