Now here's a little story about my sporting life. I have been playing tennis on and off since I was 12 years old. I've been playing competitively the last few years. Last year I finished #7 in the A division and hopefully finish as the #1 player and win the US Open in Irvine, CA this year and see how I do in the Open division where all the big, bad boys are. I know I'll get my butt kicked the first few years but I also know that's the only way to improve my game. My long range goal is to just improve every year and keep moving forward. You can check out what's going on in wheelchair tennis here. This site has the historyof wheelchair tennis and profiles of some of the best players in the world. Also check out the USTA for the other group of people who play tennis.

Other sports:

ESPN has a 1/2 hour show dedicated to wheelchair sports called ITT Hartford Breakaway and they covered the Blister Bowl(wheelchair football)in Santa Barbara last year. Unfortunately ESPN showed the Championship match where my team - The Chosen Few - lost to another team in overtime. As a first year player, I was picked as the 'Rookie of the Year'. I was quite shocked, but ecstatic, off course.

I've also dedicated a page to my wheelchair basketball team: Pacific Coast Spartans located in San Jose, California. There's also a page involving a Junior Wheelchair Sports team called WOF(Wheels on Fire), also located in San Jose, that I work with. WOF is part of a wheelchair sports teams that make up the SBWAP(South Bay Wheelchair Athletic Program). There's also a page pertaining to my personal life besides sports. Check them out, y'all!
