Brian Hinton is coming back from Hawaii. After finishing an amazing 11 on the DK division...Carlos Jenkins was in Hawaii also and surfed with Hinton. Juan has been picked up by LMNOP. Congrats to Brian Holloway who is now being picked up by Manta and BBHQ. Also, for winning the Easterns!!!!!!!!.. Yours truly is now riding for ION.....X Man just came back from PR to baptize Peter Alicea's baby. Brian Cory just had his surgery done..finally!...hope to see him out soon.
Dan Worley is riding ION and so is Matt K. Both of them are in top of their divisions.
NEXT CONTEST TO BE HELD very soon. I have contacted the sponsors and got the green light to do it. It should be the same format as all the other events in the tour. Well, Sid finally retired, which leaves me and Lisa Bernard in charge of the shop. We have taken over and the board selction is bigger than ever...Come by and say hello, help promote the sport...There are a lot of things going on...Brian Hinton just got back from Cal...The trip of them (BH and Eric Thomas etc) brought some killer pictures...check our new ad for BBHQ in the next PIT Magazine.... I am looking for the true hardcore riders to hold a short notice contest. Shawn Lennon left for a couple of months on the rock, good luck in Hawaii bro!!.hes going to be meeting up with my friends there... Expo is coming up again in January...saty tuned for news on that including a special Invitation only presentation by X Man and B Wear clothing. Welcome to Vince from OC who just moved down here, we had a killer session a couple of days ago, including Jorge Figueroa at boardwalk...good to see ya guys again...All the new B Wear is at Sids..check it out before christmas....news from the north shore are that Kainoa has been killing it! I hear hes been owning the Pipe as well as Bowls, there are some TV interviews coming out soon, and maybe a ..get this...Sports Illustrated interview..also, he has been seeded already for the Pipe championships along with Stewart....Thanks to the "winter" season we have been having some waves...I think its time to hold a contest.Carlos Jenkins is now riding for the folks at BZ,also another rider picked up by companies is Eric Wyatt who was picked up by Custom X both this guys will be representing strong as I know they can do....Kurt Keiffer is back out in the water after his skating accident...stay healthy bro!!!
Kainoa McGee was in town for the weekend to promote B Wear Clothing and Industry Bodyboards. The promo was held at Sid's in Indialantic, with some of the hardcore people showing up to meet Godzilla. Posters and gear were given out. Then we headed to the Surf Expo in Orlando. see the surf expo section for a complete writeup.
The new PIT Cabo issue is pretty good with some hot pictures of Brian Hinton. Talking about Brian, he has a good deal going with PTS shoes, WRV clothing , Dragon sunglasses, Viper fins, and Custom X. The swell from a couple weeks ago gave us wave-starved people a taste of some juice...The shorebreaks at Spessard and Boardwalk have been firing, specially in the evenings with incoming tide..plenty barrels..clean..hope the swell grows so we can have a contest soon!!!.Have had only a few replies for the short notice contest..let me know people!!!!

There seems to be growing interest in the sport...I saw so many bodyboarders out on that last swell...it tells me that more and more kids are joining the sport...way to go...Talking about people out in the water.....Eric Thomas is back in town...sporting his Atach ET model....he was ripping both dk and prone and it was a very good session with Scott Eisert and Luis Rivera giving him hell out in the water....welcome back...
The Flowrider Tour has started with the first event held (of course) in the Texas Flowrider...Thomas, Maligs and the rest of the faithful flowriders were there..will be posting the results.....also look for the tour to stop in the central Florida area...with an event planned for August at Watermania in Kissimee...start practicing....it will also be an op to meet some of your favorite pros....

Third: I am sick and tired of spongers picking on spongers....stop that crap... It seems like a bunch of sh*t that people talk all the time about this footage and this other footage, then when you ask to see it, they think you're going to steal it....listen pal: I have been riding for a long time and have shitloads of my own footage, so I dont need to steal yours to make my own video...Im not into making videos or magazines, I am into spreading a good word about the sport...and free surfing, that is it. Another thing I have noticed is the attitude some of the riders have, listen, if you're soooooo good that you think your higher that thou....Join the GOB tour....there you can go prove yourself with the big boys, and then you will have endured a very humbling experience, you can roll all you want...that is not what the sport is about...there is much more to it my friends, and a word to the older guys: dont treat the grommets like shit....do not look down on them...you were one at one time
