Why this tournement came to be...
This tournement was created because for one reason and one reason alone: The BCS sucks.  The whole purpose of the BCS being created was to make a #1 vs. #2 championship game.  Funny thing---here we are 3 years into it, and we have #1 Oklahoma playing #3 Florida State.  Where's #2?  Miami's in the Sugar Bowl playing Florida, praying for a split National Title.  So the Tournement was created to solve the question of "Who's #1?"
The BCS really sucks.  Just remember that.
Tournement News
Today at Tournement HQ, in St. Michael, MN, a 64 team NCAA football tournement was announced.  63 of the teams involved are bowl eligible this year.  BYU, which is 6-6, was added to even the field to 64.  Some of the teams invited seemed more then happy to be here.  Saiid Coach Davis of Miami "This is a great chance for our dealer...errrr..players to prove they're the best."
The tourney was also met with some apprehention, though.  Coach Bowden of FSU had this to say "I can't believe that we have to go through this.  We were all set to play in the Orange Bowl, like the Bowden, errrr...Bowl Championship Series had us, but now we have to fight our way through a 64 team tournement?  That's just unfair."
Well, the tourney's here, and the stadiums were announced today as well at the press conference, along with the #1 seeds.
