  Alana Slater(AUS) has reportitly turned down her spon to the 00' American Cup., because it will interfear with the 00' syndey test event and her own countries nationals.

This years RCA gymnastics challenge(American Cup Qualifier 1) proved the question who wants to qualify? At leasr on the american side, with only the top American qualifing. Alee three of the americans had breaks in at least one of thier routines with Chow faultering on beam and floor, White started of verry shakey on vault with only an 8.6, and ended the day with a fall on floor. the top 3 international gymnast proved consistent well more less. They were prodenova, Polezkova, and Martinez qualifing. For complete results look at my results link.

American Morgen White is going to compete in the RCA Gymnastics Challenge January 14. The first of two qualifiers to the 1999 Visa American Cup. From this  competion the highest placing American and three foreign gymnasti will go to the finals. The RCA Gymnastics Challenge will be brodcast on NBC. Check local listings for times in you area
