The 1999-2000 season was an important one for the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League marking it's          entrance into the ACHA DI.  The upcoming 00-01 season looks to be even better with the expansion of the league and the hopes that the ECHL can place a team in the ACHA DI National  tournament.  The ECHL represents some of the finest small colleges and            universities in Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio.
