• D-Lo Brown defeated Val Venis by Disqualification, retaining the WWF European Title.
-Edge was shown in the crowd. The match came very close, showing both superstars wanted the European Title. At several points, both missed their top-rope frog splash maneuvers (The Low-Down and Money Shot). Val Venis put on D-Lo's chest protector, and when the referee attempted to remove it, Venis shoved him. Venis was disqualified, letting D-Lo retain his European Title. Afterwards, Venis gave the referee the Money Shot.

• Handicapp Match: The Oddities (w/Insane Clown Posse and Luna) defeated Kaientai (w/Yamaguchi San) with a Cokeslam.
-Before the match, Insane Clown Posse did a great performance. It was basically a comedic match, with The Oddities taking the overall advantage. In the end, The Oddities took the victory, after Golga splashed and pinned all four members of Kaientai - all at once.

• Hair vs. Hair: X-Pac (w/Howard Finkel) defeated Jeff Jarrett via Pinfall.
-Howard Finkel joined X-Pac and told Jeff Jarrett to "SUCK IT!" After Southern Justice interfered, X-Pac was able to nail Jarrett with a guitar. X-Pac made the pin to take the victory. Afterwards, The New Age Outlaws, The Headbangers, and Darren Drozdov all entered the ring to help shave and cut Jarrett's hair. However, Jeff Jarrett managed to escape with only a little hair taken off.

• Sable and Edge defeated Marc Mero and Jacqueline with Sable's Herracanrana.
-Sable's partner turned out to be Edge. Edge put up a decent physical fight, while Sable used her karate techniques. The end saw Edge delivering the Downward Spiral, while Sable delivered a herracanrana on Marc Mero from the top-rope to take the win.

• Backstage, Michael Cole interviewed Rocky Maivia. Cole announced Maivia injured Hunter Hearst Helmsley's knee during the Sunday Night Heat brawl. Maivia, obviously, did not care, and was very confident he would win the Intercontinental Title-Ladder Match with Helmsley.

• Dok Hendrix interviewed The Undertaker. Undertaker said he would stand alone during his Heavyweight Title match with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

• Michael Cole interviewed Mankind. It was announced that Kane wasn't in the arena, and that Mankind would either have to forfeit or go one-one-one with The New Age Outlaws in a No Holds Barred/Falls Count Anywhere-Tag Team Title match. Mankind said he would not forfeit the match. Vince McMahon appeared, and guaranteed Mankind would go down in Madision Square Garden history if he wrestled the match alone. Confusingly, Mankind accepted.

• Lion's Den Match: Ken Shamrock defeated Owen Hart (w/Dan Severn) via Submission.
-This match took place at the Madision Square Garden Theatre. The Lion's Den was a round-shaped ring, with fence-covering. Both wrestlers used the fence-covering as an advantage, which had Owen Hart bleeding. Ken Shamrock locked Owen Hart in the Ankle Lock. Hart's trainer, Dan Severn, was about to throw in the towel, but walked off. Hart was tapping out, and the referee had no choice but to give Shamrock the win.

• The New Age Outlaws defetaed Mankind with a Spike Piledriver, to become the new WWF Tag Team Champions.
-Since Kane had not shown in the arena, Mankind was forced to defend the Tag Team Titles against The New Age Outlaws in a No Holds Barred / Falls Count Anywhere match, on his own. The New Age Outlaws dominated Mankind, but Mankind put in a lot of effort. After a Spike Piledriver, The New Age Outlaws became the new Tag Team Champions. Both Jesse James and Billy Gunn celebrated with their usual schitk. Afterwards, Kane appeared, and totally destroyed Mankind. Mankind was laying in the dumpster, and Kane hit him with a sledge hammer.

• Michael Cole interviewed Stone Cold Steve Austin, who discussed his upcoming Heavyweight Title match with The Undertaker.

• Ladder Match: Hunter Hearst Helmsley (w/Chyna) defeated Rocky Maivia (w/Mark Henry) to become the new WWF Intercontinental Champion.
-The singers of the D-Generation X theme performed live as Hunter Hearst Helmsley made his way out. Both wrestlers used the ladder very violently. Chyna did all she could to keep Mark Henry out of the match, but Henry was able to throw in another ladder. Both superstars put up a great fight, and put in a ton of effort. Rocky Maivia was literally blinded with blood. After Helmsley nailed Maivia with the Pedigree, he went for the Intercontiental Title that was hanging from the cieling. Helmsley was looking for the gold, having trouble, because of the salt Mark Henry threw in his eyes. As Maivia began to get up from the Pedigree, Chyna nailed him with a low-blow. Helmsley found the belt, captured it, and became the new Intercontinental Champion.

• Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Undertaker with the Stone Cold Stunner to retain the WWF Heavyweight Title.
-During the physical match, Kane appeared. The Undertaker, however, kept his promise, and told Kane to go back to the locker room area; Kane did so. The Undertaker wore down Stone Cold Steve Austin. At one point, The Undertaker hit a Guillotine Legdrop onto Austin, who was on the Spanish Commentator's booth. The Undertaker failed to execute the Tombstone, letting Austin take the advantage. Austin, out of desperation, nailed The Undertaker with the Stone Cold Stunner to retain the WWF Heavyweight Title.
