My Background.......until
now!!!
My father is a full Indonesian, and my mother is part Dutch and part Chinese.
I have one older brother and a younger sister. My brother is
working back home in Indonesia, while my sister attends college in Brisbane,
Australia. My parents are in Nepal because of my father's job with
the United Nations.
I was brought up outside Indonesia because of my father's work. in
1985, my father got promoted and transferred to Bangladesh. This
is where I started to play tennis. I started tennis at the age of
nine, by watching my father play with his friends.
I went with my parents to Bangladesh and we lived there for five years.
In August 1990, my father got promoted onne more time, and so he was transfered
to a small island n the South pacific, called Fiji. I lived in Fiji
for five years, completing my high school education.
Tennis
Information...
I transferred straight from Fiji to Waco in Fall semester of 1996, after
I graduated from high school. I came here because of tennis and education.
Playing college tennis was something that i have always wanted to do.
This is my second year in McLennan Community College, and I hope to graduate
in Spring of 1998.
I am currently ranked number 15 in singles and number 1 for doubles in
the Junior College Tennis. In Spring 1997, MCC won the National Championship
which was held in Tucson, Arizona. I was named an All American for
my effort in winning my singles (flight 4) and doubles (flight 2).
This year, our nationals
championship is again held in Tucson, Arizona. There are seven members
in the MCC womens tennis team, and we will play our best again to get the
national championship trophy.

I am graduating from MCC in Spring 1998. After this I am transferring
to University of New Orleans in Louisiana, where I have been offered a
full scholarship to play tennis and further my studies in management.
