STORM feel violated after loss
STORM run out of gas in loss to T-BONE CRUSHERS
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
35 T-BONE CRUSHERS (6-3)
• Jon Kitna - 252 pass yards, 15t 49t TD
• Randy Moss - 145 rec yards, 4c TD
• Adam Vinatieri - 50m 21g 25g FG
27 STORM (3-6)
• Peyton Manning - 73t 1r TD
• Cincinnati O/D - 100kr TD
(11/6/2007)
—
The slumping STORM cracked under pressure again; coach Brian H has
vowed to turn it around next week after the team’s 35-27 loss to the
T-BONE CRUSHERS. Jon Kitna bounced back from three scoreless games
by completing 16 of 31 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns. Randy
Moss delivered yet another outstanding performance with 9 catches for
145 yards and a touchdown. Moss leads receivers with 12 scores and 924
yards. "It got pretty scary there toward the end,"
Coach said. "There are two types of coaches in this league and today I
proved I belong on the winners side."
Peyton Manning benefited this week from a short pass that Joseph Addai
turned into a 73-yard touchdown. Manning finished with 225 yards and
also scored on a 1-yard run.
"If that's the best we can do, it's a sad product," said Brian H, the demoralized coach of the STORM.
WHERE'S THE BEEF foreclose on ACTING CAPTAINS future

• Joey Galloway - 37c TD
• Kris Brown - 40g 43m FG
(11/6/2007)
—
Drew Brees might not get the attention he deserves but he sure received
attention from those in attendance at the stadium after scoring 25
points in leading the WHERE'S THE BEEF to a come from behind win over
the ACTING CAPTAINS 72 - 45. Drew Brees racked up the yardage this week,
completing 35 of 49 passes for 445 yards and three short scores. Brees
now has four solid games in a row and looks to be back in business.
After seeing Sunday's performance, maybe Clinton Portis just needs more
touches every game. Portis exploded for 196 yards on a season high 36
carries and scored on a 1-yard run. Reggie Bush is definitely in the
groove now. Bush posted his fourth 100-yard game in his last five and
scored twice. Bush finished with 72 yards on the ground and 7
receptions for 43 yards. "Drew Brees slugged it out pretty good,"
WHERE'S THE BEEF coach Chris J said. "It did cross my mind, but he
needs to go through this. They all go through that, and he's no
different from anybody else."
Coming off of his best game of the season, Lee Evans took advantage of
Cincinnati's weak defense to post another gem. Evans had season highs
in receptions (9) and yards (165) and added a touchdown. After three
sub par performances in a row, Shaun McDonald made his presence known
again this week with 5 catches for 78 yards and a 49-yard score. "We didn't play the way I wanted us to play,"
said ACTING CAPTAINS coach George K, who still expressed surprise at
the loss.
WOGG DOGGS whip GALLOPING GESTOPOZ 48-42, move to 5-4
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
48 WOGG DOGGS (5-4)
• Derek Anderson - 364 pass yards
• Larry Johnson - 1r 30c TD
• Bobby Engram - 139 rec yards, 5c TD
• Jason Witten - 20c TD
42 GALLOPING GESTOPOZ (2-7)
• Matt Hasselbeck - 318 pass yards, 5t 6t TD
• Wesley Welker - 3c TD
• Mike Nugent - 29g 54m 30g FG
• Seattle O/D - 94pr TD
(11/6/2007)
—
Focused more on winning than avoiding mistakes , the WOGG DOGGS (5-4)
turned in several big plays in an easy win over the GALLOPING GESTOPOZ
(2-7). Derek Anderson was held scoreless for the first
time this season, but it wasn't due to a lack of effort. Anderson
completed 29 of 48 passes for a season high 364 yards. Larry Johnson
continued his steady move up the fantasy leader board with 95 yards of
offense, one rushing touchdown, and his first receiving touchdown of
the season. Bobby Engram posted his best game of the season with an
outstanding 14 receptions for 139 yards and a score. Engram has been
Seattle's only consistent and uninjured wide out this season. "I got that monkey off my back ...," WOGG DOGGS
coach John D said. "Today, I just wanted to be patient, take what they
gave me and not hurt the team in a way to stop any drives."
Matt Hasselbeck tossed his second 300-yard game of the season and
scored a couple of times on Sunday. Hasselbeck completed 30 of 47
passes for 318 yards. Wesley Welker scored his sixth touchdown in the
past four games, but his yardage numbers suffered this week. Welker
finished with 5 receptions for 38 yards. Brandon Marshall did his best
this week to prove he can be a number one receiver by catching a season
high 9 balls for 96 yards.
"We have a lot of talent on this team and we're not getting it done," GALLOPING GESTOPOZ coach C J said.
Jamal Lewis runs wild over TOEJAMMS, scores 24 points
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
37 TOEJAMMS (5-4)
• Marion Barber - 50 rec yards, 5r TD
• LaDainian Tomlinson - 1r TD
• Santonio Holmes - 110 rec yards, 15c 35c TD
• Kellen Winslow - 125 rec yards
• David Akers - 36g FG
76 IMPALERS (6-3)
• Tony Romo - 324 pass yards, 1t 45t 20t TD
• LenDale White - 100 rush yards, 1r TD
• Jamal Lewis - 67 rec yards, 2r 1r 2r 1r TD
• T.J. Houshmandzadeh - 15c TD
• Jeff Reed - 22g FG
• Jacksonville O/D - 100kr TD
(11/6/2007)
—
Dan P came into the game with an aggressive plan and the IMPALERS
executed to perfection as they beat the lifeless TOEJAMMS 76-37. When was the last time Jamal Lewis had more
receiving yards than rushing yards? How about Sunday. Lewis rushed 20
times for 37 yards, caught 4 balls for 67 yards, and scored four short
touchdowns. It looks like the bye week came at the right time for Tony
Romo. After three lackluster pre-bye week games, Romo came back strong
this week with 324 yards on 20 of 25 passing and 3 touchdowns. LenDale
White rushed for 100 yards for the third game in a row and scored a
short touchdown on Sunday, his fifth of the season. "From the IMPALERS prospective it was nice to
win a football game late like that," IMPALERS coach Dan P said. "I
thought it was a heck of a football game. Surprisingly, I thought we
made more mistakes today than we did last week, but for the most part
they were effort mistakes."
Santonio Holmes had a huge Monday night performance with over 100 yards
receiving and 2 touchdowns. Holmes now has six scores on the season.
Marion Barber nearly duplicated his previous game's performance with
over 100 yards of total offense and a touchdown. LaDainian Tomlinson
hasn't been able to repeat last season's performance, but he still
finds ways to deliver. LT scored on a 1-yard run and finished with 77
total yards. "I know how things work in this fantasy league,
and it is never as good as you think and never as bad as you think,"
TOEJAMMS coach Coach says. "Sometimes things can snowball on you a
little bit, but it's not as bad as it looked today."
BROKEN BONES steamroll NATURE BOYZ
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
68 BROKEN BONES (5-4)
• Donovan McNabb - 264 pass yards, 10t TD
• Adrian Peterson - 296 rush yards, 1r 64r 46r TD
• Brian Westbrook - 90 rec yards, 3r TD
• Nate Kaeding - 36g FG
63 NATURE BOYZ (5-3-1)
• Brett Favre - 360 pass yards, 13t 60t TD
• Joseph Addai - 112 rush yards, 114 rec yards, 73c TD
• Terrell Owens - 174 rec yards, 45c TD
• Stephen Gostkowski - 34g FG
(11/6/2007)
—
No matter how many times Donovan McNabb's supporting cast changes, he finds a way to get the BROKEN BONES a victory.
Just when you thought Adrian Peterson's week six performance was too
good to be true, he explodes for an even better game. Peterson rushed
for 296 yards, caught 1 pass for 19 yards, and scored 3 times. Donovan
McNabb had an ugly game this week, completing just 27 of 46 passes for
264 yards, two interceptions, and a short score. Brian Westbrook turned
in a fine performance on Sunday with 155 total yards (65 rushing and 14
catches for 90 yards) and a short touchdown. "We have enough good football players to have a
real good football team," BROKEN BONES coach Jim L said. "How good only
time will tell."
Brett Favre posted his fifth 300-yard game of the season and scored two
more touchdowns on Sunday. Favre completed 24 of 34 passes for 360
yards and 2 interceptions. Joseph Addai lived up to the hype in
Sunday's showdown against New England. Addai rushed for 112 yards and
caught 5 balls for 114 yards, including a huge 73-yard touchdown.
Terrell Owens had an outstanding game against his former teammates with
a season high 10 receptions for 174 yards and a 45-yard touchdown.
Owens now has back-to-back 100 yard games. "Well, that wasn't very good," NATURE BOYZ
coach Ron S said. "That wasn't very good at all. We're just very
disappointed. I don't know what else to say."
Dan L indicted for incompetence, TECHNOIDS lose 50-47
Statsworld.com Fantasy Sources
47 TECHNOIDS (6-2-1)
• Tom Brady - 255 pass yards, 4t 3t 13t TD
• Willis McGahee - 33r TD
• Greg Jennings - 13c 60c TD
• Phil Dawson - 19g 25g FG
50 LOS VATOS (5-4)
• Edgerrin James - 3r TD
• Marshawn Lynch - 153 rush yards, 8t 56r TD
• Marques Colston - 159 rec yards
• Neil Rackers - 47g FG
• San Diego O/D - 109bk TD
(11/6/2007)
—
Dan L, despite making several good lineup decisions, was ultimately out coached by Mark R of the LOS VATOS 50 - 47.
Marshawn Lynch has played consistently all season, but he needed a
matchup against Cincinnati to show what he is capable of. Lynch rushed
for 153 yards and two scores, one of them 56 yards long. Marques
Colston followed up last week's breakout game with another big
performance. Colston grabbed a season high 10 balls for 159 yards, his
first 100-yard game of the season. Jason Campbell didn't do much to
excite owners this week, completing 12 of 23 passes for 142 yards, one
interception, and no scores. "We felt like when it came down to it, the
offense was going to move the ball no matter who we put on the field,"
coach Mark R said. "It was inevitable that the offense was going to
score."
Tom Brady doubled his interception total (now has 4) and had his first
sub-100 passer rating of the season, but he still delivered a stud-like
fantasy performance with 255 yards and 3 scores. Greg Jennings only had
three receptions this week, finding the end zone on two of them. Six of
Jennings' 23 receptions this season have been for touchdowns. Willis
McGahee didn't get many opportunities with Baltimore trailing big most
of the game. McGahee rushed for 50 yards and scored once. "If we didn't get two penalties on third down,
it would've been good thinking," TECHNOIDS coach Dan L said of the
strategy. "When you do that, you deserve to lose."
