Coach Craig Rowe
returned to Queensland from the Northern Territory (NT) in 2004 and is
currently in discussions with Northside Wizards and Southern Cross
Basketball Club regarding coaching opportunities.
Rowe is a NCAS Level
2 Accredited Coach and was a former Regional Director of Coaching with
Basketball Queensland Inc. (1998-1999).
The coach is
available to conduct clinics and training sessions for coaches and players
in Brisbane's suburbs. For more information email:

2001 - 2003
In 2001 Rowe was
appointed Operations Manager of Darwin Basketball a role which saw him
managing a 3 court facility and overseeing all aspects of a local
competition boasting 1300+ participants. He also co-ordinated the NT
Easter Championships in that same year.
While in Darwin
Coach-R was appointed Head Coach of the Northern Territory High Schools'
Boys Team which competed at the National Schools' Championships in
Queensland in 2001. He was also appointed in 2002 but resigned the
position for personal reasons. In 2002 he coached the Under 14 Boys NT
North Team that competed at the Under 14s National Club Tournament in
Western Australia.
From June 2001 -
December 2002 Rowe also coached an under 16 club side which competed in 3 Grand
Finals over 3 seasons. The team dropped 4 games in the first season. It
finished minor premiers in the last 2 seasons and was undefeated in the
regular season for the whole of 2002.
Before 2001
Rowe has coached for
over 12 years and has actively participated as a player for 14 years. In
that time he has coached at various levels including Queensland's
Intensive Training Centre Program, Queensland State Development and Other
State Team Selection Camps. He also participated as a coach and
co-ordinator in many basketball camps including Top Dog Camps, 'Pop'
Dickerson Supercamps, Rookie's Basketball Camps and Bullets Future Stars
Camps.
In 1998 Rowe's services
were utilised by two private schools in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs,
Southern Cross Catholic College and St Columban's College, where he
conducted player and coaching development programs. In 2000 Rowe was
employed by the Caboolture Shire Council as a Sports Programs Officer at
the Morayfield Indoor Sports Centre where he was responsible for the
development and implementation of leisure activities and sports programs catering to the wider
community.
