Sunday Night Heat July 11, 1999 WWF Sunday Night Heat Report - July 11, 1999 Hosted by Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly Live from Indianapolis, Indiana [Thanks to Joe De Leon and RWIN.] • Big Show Interview, Conducted by Jim Ross. - The Big Show had his entire hair down. Jim Ross said it was obvious that Big Show had big problems with The Undertaker and Kane. Big Show said when he first arrived in the WWF, he had a lot of pressure on him, since a lot thought he would go straight to the top, which put a great big bullseye on him. He said he would knock everyone down one by one. He said things had been getting clearer, as Kane and The Undertaker didn't want to play by the one by one program. Big Show mentioned the last time Kane and The Undertaker reunited and how no one could stand in their way. But a year ago, he wasn't in the WWF. He claimed The Undertaker and Kane had reunited to only take him out, but it wouldn't happen. He said he would take both brothers down one by one. He announced he would take on Kane at Fully Loaded, but decided to start things with his enemy immediately on the show. • Backstage, Terry Taylor interviewed The Brood about their recent problems in a dark locker room with candles lit. Edge, Gangrel, and Christian all said (in their own dark terms) everything was back together. • The Corporate Ministry (Big Bossman, Viscera, Mideon) defeated The Brood via Pinfall. - Edge and Christian dominated in the beginning, but the moment Viscera was in the ring, The Corporate Ministry was on top. As Viscera slammed Christian into the ringpost on the outside, Mideon argued with the referee. Meanwhile, Edge nailed The Big Bossman with a cross-body from the top rope, and was set to make the pin, only to be given an Implant DDT by Brood member, Gangrel. As Gangrel took off, Bossman then made the pin on Edge to give The Corporate Ministry the win. Pre-recorded footage was then shown of Gnagrel going down a stairway to the exit of the Market Square Arena. Michael Cole later noted that Gangrel was jealous of the popularity of Edge. • Backstage, Al Snow was trying to get the mini luchadores of El Torito, El Batallion, Max Mini, and Nova Mini to sign contracts. • Al Snow Interview. - Al Snow said he showed up in the arena and was told he wasn't wrestling a match on the show. He said no one wanted to see him wrestle anymore because they thought he was crazy, as the crowd booed. He said if we wanted something right, we had to do it ourselves. He said he would have a Hardcore Match. He said he searched everywhere, and couldn't find anyone, until he spotted the mini luchadores. Max Mini, Nova Mini, El Batallion, and El Torito made their ways down to the ring. • Hardcore Match: Al Snow vs. Max Mini, Nova Mini, El Torito, and El Batallion resulted in a No-Contest, to let Snow retain the Hardcore Title. - The Super Astros referee officiated the match. Al Snow went under the ring and grabbed a cookie sheet. He tried to hit the luchardores with it, but they all went to the outside of the ring. He went after them with a broomstick, where El Torito caught him with a fire extinguisher. El Batallion and Max Mini then used the broomstick on Snow, to the point where it cracked open. Every mini tried to make a pinfall, but were unsuccessful. Nova accidently hit Batallion with a cookie sheet. The minis then started to argue among themselves, where Snow sprayed them all with fire extingusiher material. He then chased them around the ring, where he was caught by a diving splash from all the minis off a ladder. Max then took down Snow with a corkscrew splash from the top rope to the outside. The minis then used tongs all over Snow's body, including his groin area. Snow then chased the minis to the backstage area. • Backstage, The Rock made his way to the ring. • Rock Interview. - The Rock let everyone know the he had finally returned to Indianapolis, Indiana. The Rock said he beat Triple H's ass in a Steel Cage Match, but didn't understand why Triple H was the number one contender for the Heavyweight Title. He said he would whoop Triple H's candyass at the Fully Loaded PPV. The Rock then discussed matters on Mr. Ass. He insulted Ass for praying to God to win the King of the Ring tournament. He said God responded back, calling Ass, "Bob" instead of Billy. God told him he did suck. God also told Ass to find The Rock. • Backstage, Terry Taylor interviewed Mr. Ass, along with Chyna, about The Rock's comments. Ass said The Rock was jealous of him because he was the King of the Ring Winner, good looking, and had a good look ass, as he showed it on television (edited). He said he would make Test fame-ass later in the show. Taylor blamed Chyna for spraypainting her own car. Chyna said it was Road Dogg and X-Pac who did it, and besides, it wasn't her car. • Backstage, Terry Taylor interviewed Prince Albert and Droz about their upcoming Tag Team Title match wit The Hardy Boyz. Albert was serious about the match, but meanwhile, Droz was wearing a skirt and panty hose. Droz said what he was wearing with comfortable, as Albert took off furiously, with Droz slapping him on the rear. • The Hardy Boyz (w/Michael Hayes) vs. Droz and Prince Albert resulted in a No-Contest, to let The Hardy Boyz retain the Tag Team Titles. - The Hardy Boyz came out to new entrance music. Droz decided to add a top and a feather bow to his new outfit. As The Hardy Boyz dominated the match, Val Venis and The Godfather immediately interfered, attacking Prince Albert and Droz. The Hardy Boyz flew off the top rope onto The Godfather and Venis. The brawl with Venis and The Godfather against The Hardy Boyz continued, with Michael Hayes joining in. • Backstage, The Mean Street Posse were shown walking down the hall, discussing in what seemed to be a plain. • Test defeated Mr. Ass (w/Chyna) by Disqualification. - There was some new clips added to Test's theme music. After Mr. Ass made his way out, The Mean Street Posse entered the ring. Test went after them, only to be attacked by Ass from behind, to let Ass gain the early advantage. Shane McMahon joined in for color commentary and cheered on Ass. Posse immediately went after Test in the ring, resulting in a Disqualification. The Rock then ran in, where he destroyed Ass. Meanwhile, Ken Shamrock ran in to clear out the Posse. Shane and Chyna made a run for it. • Backstage, Kane made his way to the ring. • Kane defeated Bradshaw with a Chokeslam. - Hardcore Holly made his way out to the ring and announced he would be the special guest timekeeper. He threw the timekeeper across the barracade l and took a seat. Bradshaw got into Holly's face as Kane made his way out. Bradshaw immediatley went at Kane, where they brawled down the rampway to the ring. Bradshaw threw Kane over the announcer's table. Kane lay flat across the chairs of Kevin Kelly and MIchael Cole. Bradshaw punched away at Kane. Kane took control after slamming Bradshaw into the steel staircase. Bradshaw later nailed Kane with a bottle and a chair. The action finally went inside the ring, where Holly nailed Bradshaw with a chair. Kane then chokeslammed Bradshaw for the win. Holly then got in Bradshaw's face. Kane chokeslammed Holly, as The Big Show made his way out and nailed Kane with some kind of club. Huge elbow drops were delivered to can as the show went off the air. Well, that's all this tired Bride has for y'all.
