Tribute to Owen Hart.
May he rest peacefully.
We will miss him dearly.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

I just heard that Owen died after his fall from the ceiling when entering as the Blue Blazer. How horrible. His poor family.

Jozie

I'm sorry to say that Owen Hart died tonight!

Either his harness broke or something, but he fell from the ceiling of the arena. The WWF was classy enough to say that this was not an angle and would not show what was happening in the ring. Debra was crying (making me think that he was already dead) right after the accident. And when Jim Ross mentioned that Owen had an accident, it seemed that the arena was not aware of the fatalitity.

So sad, So very sad. The feelings of me and my family goes out to the Hart family! Owen....Rest In Peace!!

And The Undertaker took the championship belt!!!!

The victory is overshadowed by Owen's death. And, our feelings go out to the Hart family.

My god Jozie, when did you hear about this? I met Owen. He was such a sweet guy.

Leslie

Leslie, I read it off the Internet Wrestling Zone. I couldn't get the PPV on the computer. I think I paid for it on two different accts in my attempt to get hooked up. Unfortunately to no avail. Horrible news, isn't it. My daughter and I got his autograph in Las Vegas on March 13 right before the show a few months back. It was the first time we had ever been to an autograph signing. That damn Blazer suit was completely cursed for him. He had so many problems with it, from it ripping, to him getting hung up on the cable and not being able to get loose - hanging in the air, neither up nor completely on the floor, to it tripping him. Poor guy.

Jozie

I can't believe it either. At first I though it was an angle until JR started saying that it wasn't and they wouldn't show the ring. It's already been on ESPN and WWF.com has already posted it on their site. Unbelievable.

Marti

Well, it's on network news now...WNBC just ran the story....they thought that Owen has securly strapped to the harness, it wasn't, he fell 50 feet and hit his head on a turnbuckle.

Very tragic and very sad. Very sad, indeed.

Good night.

From the WWF.com site

We at the World Wrestling Federation are sad to report the death of Owen Hart. He was 34 years old. We do not have much information as to how it happened and will not know until an investigation is completed. We are all shaken, and to say Owen will be missed is to fall short of a way to fully explain what he meant to us.

The sadness of his death as a father, brother, son and uncle we’re certain is very deep and strongly felt. He was, and is, beloved by them and by all of us who were fortunate enough to work with him at the World Wrestling Federation.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Hart family.

We have to be strong for Owen; he was an extraordinary human being and consummate performer and knows that the highest tribute that we can pay is to go on entertaining the fans he loved so much.

We’ll carry his love for his family and friends and the passion he put in to his work forever.

I was very upset when I started to read my mail that Owen Hart had died. It was quite a shock to hear about it. I am sorry for all the wrestlers and my heart goes out to the Hart family for their loss.

Lisa

My heart goes out to the Hart family and Owen's children. He had a lot of friends and will surely be missed. They announced his death on NBC as the lead story only because they were showing the Ventura Story. I don't know about ABC but CBS didn't mention it. If any of the Brides were there I hope they have someone to be with tonight.

All my love,
Lynne

My heart goes out to Owen, his family and everyone touched by his life. We'll miss you Owen.

Love,
Carol
