I did not quite understand wh t you meant by a "limit to applets used within one image." With the David Griffiths Lake Applet, you can use only one applet with an image, but that image can have an overlay too. The Dorian Gray II Applet allows a different applet on the top and bottom (see "Puppy Love" on my site. The Anlake Applet allows an animated GIF as the overlay (see "Heading Home".
