Picture 1 The Table With All Balls In There Starting Position
First of all we kick off with the starting position of the balls on the table. As we can see in
Picture 1, the green, brown, yellow, blue, pink and black balls are placed on their usual spots
while the 15 red balls are shaped to a triangle just below the pink spot.
In the first shot (the break off shot) the player can move the white cue ball inside of the 'D' on the upper side of
the table, which is called the Baulkside while the opposite is called the Top side. The line at the 'D'
is called the Baulkline. The pockets are addressed as either Baulk-, Middle- or Toppockets.
