DUTIES OF
NOMINATING COMMITTEE
1. To actively seek qualified candidates to run for FSHPA Inc. Executive Council offices that are up for election in the current year.
2. To conduct the elections of officers held at the State Closed Tournament site. The FSHPA Inc. by laws provide the procedures to be followed during the voting process and the procedures to be followed in the counting of the votes.

DUTIES OF
BY-LAWS AND CONSTITUTION COMMITTEE
JUNE 20, 2005
1. Review the Constitution and By-laws document for any kind of error. Errors are to include but are not limited to misspellings, grammatical errors, conflicting By-Laws within the FSHPA Inc. document and in comparison to the NHPA By-Laws.
2. The Constitution and By-Laws document must be checked for clarity. There is nothing worse than a By-Law that can be interpreted in more than one way.
3. Proposed By-law changes must be presented to the By-Laws committee chairperson prior to Feb. 1st of each year and must be presented for publication in the FSHPA Inc. March newsletter prior to Feb 15th to be considered for adoption in the current year.
4. To review and comment on, at the annual Club Officers/Executive Council meeting, any By-laws interpretations made by the Executive Council.
5. To review any and all proposed By-Law changes presented by the membership ( see items 1, 2 and 3 above).
6. The Committee may make recommendations for passage or against passage when the proposed change is published in the annual March newsletter.
7. To work with the grievance committee on any question involving the By-Laws, when asked by the grievance committee.
8. To work through the 4th VP on any questions involving the By-Laws or questions of the duties of the Constitution and By-Laws committee.
9. The chairperson may appoint up to four members to serve on the committee, if less than four the total number of voting members should be odd in number.
10. Committee members must be reported to the 4th VP at the time of selection, dismissal or with drawl.
11. The 4th VP is a ex-officio non voting member of the committee.
12. Committee members will be reimbursed for expenses.

DUTIES OF THE
GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE
1. Receives and acts upon any and all grievances filed against member(s) of the association.
2. Chairperson selects members of the committee from the membership at large. Committee should consist of 3 or 5 members including the chairperson. Committee should be selected prior to the filing of any grievances. Members of the committee should be from different clubs so as to provide a good cross section of the membership.
3. Committee investigates all grievances in light of the Constitution and By-laws of the NHPA and FSHPA Inc. Assistance from the By-laws committee chairperson should be solicited for interpretations of the NHPA and FSHPA Inc. Constitution and By-laws.
4. Chairperson reports to the President the results of the committee's decision to uphold or deny a grievance.
5. Grievances should be settled within 30 days if possible.
6. Committee members shall receive compensation for travel and other expenses as necessary.
7. The 4th VP is an ex-officio non-voting member.

JUNIOR PROGRAM COMMITTEE
1. First the Junior Program was created to promote good sportsmanship,
friendship, work values and human values within our youth. It is a great
chance for the whole family to experience an activity they can all
participate in and enjoy! We are the only sport that holds championships
for men, women, girls and boys.
2. Work with the Promotion Director to plan programs for the promotion of the Junior
Program.
3. Keep EC informed of promotional activities.
4. Keep Club Presidents informed of recommendations for getting started with a Junior
Program and send them promotional information. If needed be willing to go to the
clubs to give a presentation.

AUDIT & FINANCE COMMITTEE
1. To audit the reports of the Sec/Tres.
Verify bank accounts.
Verify that the Income and Expense report presented by the Sec/Tres. is reasonable and follows generally accepted accounting principles.
Perform physical audits of the Associations assets when directed by the Executive Council.
2. To audit the GRI Reps. financial reports as presented to the EC.
Verify bank accounts.
Verify that the Income and Expense reports presented to the EC is reasonable and follows general accounting principles.
Make suggestions for changes to reports that make the reports more readable to the Executive Council.
Perform physical verification of inventories when deemed necessary by the Executive Council.
