Ratings are artificially low for Denver as they have only eight players signed.

Denver's front line is set, now they just need some depth in the backcourt. Kiki is holding on to his money while his potential players are being signed elsewhere. Ryan Bowen is looking at Miami, Jon Barry inked with Atlanta and White is likely to get an offer soon. Expect Denver to lock up White.

This team should win 50 games easily. The key is how far can they go in the playoffs. If Camby stays healthy, this team is an outside shot to win the West, just half a step behind the Spurs and Wolves.

Needs:
Denver is going to be a major player in the free agent market. If they can get Kenyon Martin (making Nene the backup at C and PF) along with Quentin Richardson or Marquis Daniels, this team would be more than good for years to come.

Shooting Guard
The key here would be to get someone who can complement Carmelo. I'm not sure about Q-Rich being that player though he hasn't done too badly alongside Maggette.

Forward
With Camby and Nene, they're not really lacking here but the availability of players like Martin, Rasheed and Memo is too good to ignore. Martin would be a great fit with their game plan of running teams out of the gym.

Backup Shooting Guard
Plenty of options here though a defensive specialist who can play multiple positions would suit them well.

Prediction: This team will definitely make the playoffs, itself a major achievement in a very tough conference. Their free agent signings will determine if they can move up the list and compete with the likes of the Rockets and Wolves.

Update: Nuggets have signed Kenyon Martin and given the Nets three draft picks in exchange. Now they just need some backcourt help. Their frontcourt is one of the best in the NBA right now.
