OUR GLORIOUS HISTORY

 

Galatasaray was founded by Ali Sami Yen Asim Tevfik, Emin Bulent, Cemal Ibrahim, Bekir SItkI, Tahsin Nahit, Resat Sirvani, Refik Cevdet and Abidin Dagver in 1905. The foundation as explained by the number one member of the club in 1905: to play together like the English, to have a team color, a name and to beat the non-Turkish teams..

  • Servette-Galatasaray=2-2 Hakan Sukur, Adrian Illie. Comment: Galatasaray cok iyi oynadigi macta galibiyeti kaciran taraf oldu. Adrian Illie kacirdigi goller kadar attigi ve attirdigi golle dikkatleri cekti.

  • Grasshopper-Galatasaray=5-1 Adrian Illie. Comment: Ilk yari cok iyi oynarken iki gol yiyen GS, ikinci yari Bulent, Vedat, B. Hakan gibi isimlerin oyundan cikmasiyla havlu atti. Illie yine attigi golle dikkatleri uzerinde toplarken, yeni transferlerden Osman da iyi bir oyun ortaya koydu ve alkislandi. GS'nin kalesinde bes gol gormesi ise utanc verici idi. Mactan sonra Hakan Sukur Hong Kong'a dunya karmasi macina gitti. Eski oyuncumuz Kubilay ise ilk yarida durgun ikinci yarida iyi bir oyun ortaya koyarken, Galatasaray taraftarini unutamadigini soyledi. Biz de onu unutamadik. Sol bek oynatilan super solak aslinda nerede oynamasi gerektigini bize ve Torinolu Souness'a gosterdi.

    News & Latest Transfers

    Galatasaray, bu sezon transferde bonservis ucretlerinin yuksek olmasi yuzunden genclere yatirim yapti. Genclerbirligi'nden Osman ve Gaziantepsporlu Mehmet flas transferler olurken, Osman Grasshopper macinda sol kanatta iyi bir oyun ortaya koydu. Diger transferler Ekrem (Yenicarsi), Adnan (Adiyaman), Tarik ve Murat (Manisaspor), Mehmet ve Atalay (Pasabahce) oldu. Fatih'in genc aslanlari Fatih ve Emre'den genc takimdan yetisip kadroda kendilerine yer bulma asamasindalar. Basarilar cocuklar!

    I. S. Filipescu(born 1974) and Adrian Bucurel Illie(born 1974) signed for Galatasaray in 1997. They both came from Steua Bucharest.
