Children can get
very excited and make lots of noise whilst running around having fun. The
natural instinct of the border is to keep running, squealing children under
control. A border will naturally herd the children and MAY nip if the children
don't respond quickly. Nipping is a behaviour that can be curbed but it
is a natural and understandable reaction from the working dog ...
teaching
the children to respect the dogs is as important as teaching the dog to
respect the children.
