Ahh, the curse of the real life NHLer strikes BAP Signature -- consistancy. Box to box it is quite inconsistant, with some boxes being complete duds, some having amazing autographes, some having memorabilia cards, some not.On the one hand, the inconsistancy is what make BAP Signature so appealing. It's not extremely pricy and the potential for a huge box is there. Unfortunately, as with real life, when the potential isn't met there isn't a whole lot else left.
This box started off quite well: Blackburn, Yashin, and Burke autographs all came in the first 3 packs. The Golds even went pretty well considering the usuals -- Sanderson, Czerkawski, and Claude Lemieux are a lot better than Wayne Primeau, Chris Herperger, and Dale Purinton.
Sadly though, that trend did not continue throughout the box. The silver autographs stuck up the joint after that ... other than the first three mentioned above, Rob Nidermayer leads the cast of autographers, which gives you a sense of how dull the second half of the box was. And with no memorabilia card ...
You know, it also occurs to me that these Certified Parallels are ridiculously hard to pull. I've ended up with four so far in eight boxes. You know, a few more of those (maybe one per box) would have spiced up the box breaks a lot more ....
