Squirrel Run Golf & Country Club (JN4)(JN5)(JN6)
SRGCC is owned by Charles Caranci, operator of a Mobil Home Park with a
wooded land area nearby. He planned to clear the land to extend
his Mobil Home Park but he decided to build a golf course with
some small homes upon his wife's suggestion. This executive style
course was designed by Ray Richards and was open for play in
September, 1992. It is located on Route 44 in West Plymouth, Ma.
It is 2,845 yards in length, fairly flat and contains three par 4
holes and fifteen par 3 holes, for an 18 hole overall par of 57.
There are four holes with a water hazard. This was my first
course designed with the JN4 designer. It has been converted to JN6 but remains incomplete.
Foxy Oaks was created from two nine hole public courses that I have played many times. I joined them together to create one 18 hole golf course. The front nine is the Fox Run Golf Club in Ludlow Vt. with the back nine representing the Pine Oaks Golf Club located in South Easton, Ma. Fox Run (2,701 yards) is set in the Green mountains and it is located just south of the Okemo Mountain ski resort which you can see from many holes. Pine Oaks (2,938 yards) has 3 holes without a water hazard. This course is described on the JNSE courses page. It has been converted to JN6 but remains incomplete.
