Smudger. I didn't see last night's game. And you may be right, we probably won't go up this season. But then again, this time last year, we were in a really bad run of form, and only came good in the last 10 games of the season. Who's to say we can't do t e same again? You are right in one other thing. Teams have worked out our long ball tactics, but we are starting to play passing football, and we are bringing in players capable of doing so. We were tipped to go down this season by almost every football m g. That goes to show that we like to surprise people. If however, we fail to go up this season, and finish 10th as you predict, then we have still achieved a lot. We are a team that is still under an administration order, having gone bust a few years bac . We still have no big money directors, yet we have risen from last place in Div 3, to 4th in Div 2 in under 4 years. That's a big achievement in my book!

You guys have got no chance of either going up or making the play-offs this season. Firstly, I must congragulate you on your results this season and you have suprised a lot of people but lets be honest your no were near good enough to porgress to the fir t division. Last nights game against ourselves (Wycombe) was awful. Having seen most of our games this season I would have to say that there are a lot of better teams in this division than yourselves. This is not a slagging off of Northampton because you deserved to beat us last night. We were crap but as we have been playing like that for the last 3 months we were not suprised anymore! I think next season you will sruggle a lot more as teams will have sussed out the way you play and will have adjusted their style accordingly. I think come may you will finish around 10th place (still a good achievment for your first season) As for ourselves unless we improve very quickly then we will go down. As you fans were shouting last night : "Your Shit & your going down" ... I couldn't agree more !

My particular gripe was that I paid through the nose for a restricted view, when in the same stand there was a whole block of unoccupied terracing. A right rip-off! If we had been given the option, I'm sure more people would have opted for the terracing.

Michael, having seen Peer play quite a lot recently, I have come to the conclusion that he is a lot better this season than he was last. perhaps this is due to being in Div 2 and a slightly different style of footie. I don't know, but a couple of times I ave seen him play really well, so perhaps I shall have to make the necessary alterations to the site.
