Headlines News League commissioners (seen above) Ed Isch, and Robbie Morton were on hand today as the new league website was unveiled at a ceremony earlier today. The site contains links to all the games being simmed by the esteemed Mr. Isch, as well a soon to be completed link that will cover rank the players available in the upcoming v2.0 draft. Please take advantage of this site, and forward any comments/advice to Ed Isch or Robbie Morton so we can fine tune this site. The idea behind this site is to have a feeder like to the big league just like real life, but the advantage to you is that you get to scout the players available and know the ratings long before the draft is about to start. The idea is unique, but needs to be utilized to its potential. Please take the time to read the articles, check the stats, rosters, etc. Megadeth Rocker Leads League in Scoring Dave Mustaine of Megadeth leads his team and the league in scoring as of the 34 game mark in the season. Dave' 22 goals leave him tied with Franktown rookie Gil Cote for the league goal scoring lead, but his 33 assists give him enough to edge over Cote for the league lead in points with 55. Towering Athens defensemen Zenon Horcicka, at 6'11", leads the league in assists with 39 as well as forehead bruises from hitting his head on the doorways. Top goaltenders to this point have been Daren Moriarty of Tin Cup, as well as Warren Khawaja of Tar Valon and Vlastimil Bartecko of Athens. |
