Welcome to Allentown Center City Chess Club's Beginner's Corner. Whether you are new to chess in general or just new to the world of USCF Tournament play, you will find a wealth of information in this section to help your first experiences be more comfortable and fun! If you should have a question that is not answered here, please feel free to email us or leave your question in our forum and we'll be happy to help you out to the best of our ability. It's probably a good idea for you to print out certain articles that really require you to read them in front of a chess board. If you don't have a chess board, we've put diagrams up during key positions.
