The Truckee River Regional Park Disc Golf Course The Truckee River Regional Park disc golf course now has 18 MACH III baskets.The Truckee Disc Golf Association completed
the installation of 18 brand new MACH III baskets on Saturday July 10, 1999.

are very proud to announce that we have installed 18 Mach III's at the
Truckee River Regional Park disc golf course in Truckee, California. Directions to the course: From the East: From Interstate 80 take the first Truckee exit which is Highway 267 and turn left (south). Follow highway 267 across the railroad tracks and the Truckee River continuing south for another 1/4 mile. The Truckee River Regional Park is on the left. Baskets 1, 2 and 3 are visible from Highway 267. From the West: From Interstate 80 take the Central Truckee exit. Turn right and follow the signs to Highway 267. You will make a left onto West River St. and then a right onto Highway 267. You will then cross the Truckee River heading south. Course is 1/4 mile on the left. From the North Shore: Take Highway 267 north from Kings Beach. Course is approximately 2 miles past the Truckee Airport on the right. Fees: The Truckee River Regional Park disc golf course is free to play.
During the Fall months prior to snowfall in
1999, the Truckee Disc Golf Association worked on installing the second, third
and fourth pin placement for all holes. All the holes have been measured and
maps are being drawn for Tee-signs which will be put into place in the spring of
2000. The course distances are as follows. The Truckee Disc Golf Association would like to express their sincere thanks to the TDRPD for making disc golf possible in Truckee. Not only did the course receive final
approval but it was also featured in a front page article by the Sierra
Sun. Thanks to the Sierra

Grand OpeningThe Truckee Disc Golf Association had it's grand opening celebration for the new course on Sunday September 5, 1999. We had a B-B-Q and course dedication as well as doubles, a mini tourney and a putting contest.We also raffled off over $300 in prizes with proceeds going to the club. Ice Bowl In January 2000 The Truckee River Regional Park held the 1st Annual Ice Bowl Tournament. The Truckee Ice Bowl
The Truckee ICE BOWL was held on January
22 at the Truckee River Regional Park.
The club is now seeking tee sign sponsors.
