What are Alumni Groups?
Alumni Groups are composed of post-collegiate Brothers who
come together for the fulfillment offered by continuous fellowship
and service in the fraternity. These groups live out the motto "Once
A Sinfonian, Always a Sinfonian, Long Live Sinfonia." Their ultimate
goal is to keep the spirit of Sinfonia kindled in the hearts of
their members. Alumni groups are separated into two classifications:
officially recognized Alumni Associations and unrecognized Alumni
Association Interest Groups and Area Contacts.
Alumni Associations are groups
of alumni that have been officially recognized by the national fraternity.
Each group went through the process of electing officers and filing
a petition with the Commission on Standards. Consequently, they
were granted official Alumni Association status. They are made up
of Sinfonians residing in a particular geographic area regardless
of their initiating chapter. As alumni move into the area, these
groups welcome them and help to maintain their bonds with the fraternity.
Members of these groups support the fraternity with their membership
dues and make annual reports on the status of their accomplishments.

Groups
Alumni Interest Groups are normally
informal gatherings of alumni from many chapters meeting primarily
as a social group. They are organic entities that are able to evolve
to suit the needs of the alumni that form them. There are no rules
governing the operations of these groups but in general they should
try to uphold Sinfonia's noble goals and respect each member as
a true brother. Most Alumni Groups start out as Alumni Interest
Groups then decide if they wish to become Alumni Associations. Below
are some links to information about the current known Alumni Interest
Groups:

Area Contacts are an important element
in forming Alumni Groups. These are brothers who either are currently
