Jazz Sign the Big Brit
On Friday, July 20, John Amaechi signed a multiyear deal with the Jazz. Amaechi averaged 7.9 points and 20.9 minutes in 82 games for the Magic during the 2000-01 season. Amaechi will probably start at center, where there had been long stretches in games where there was no scoring from that position. |
Photo Gallery
Pretty soon I am going to put up the last of the photos that I have of the Jazz. When I do that, I'll have more than 250 pictures of the players. It is a must to see the collection. |
The Jazz went for old school style with their first pick at number 24 with Spain's Raul Lopez, known for his traditional approach on the point. Lopez, however, is still under contract with Real Madrid. With pick number 53 in the second round, the Jazz took Stanford forward Jarron Collins. Collins will be a stretch to even make the team while Lopez will stay in Spain to work on his game and will join the Jazz in the future.

Poll
New poll, because the last question was about whether or not the Jazz would win the Midwest Division. Well, since that is cleared up, I need somethin' new. You guys did much better in the last poll by actually voting with over 160 votes. Let's keep it up!!
