Welcome to the 2001 Season of the New Philadelphia Firedogs!

Welcome to the Offical Home page for the New Philadelphia Firedogs, one of the founding members of the EBA/UBA. The New Philadelphia Firedogs are based in New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They compete in the United basketball Alliance, a Professional league spread throughout the northeast. The team's mascot is the Dalmation.

The team corporation, Anthracite region Athletics Against Tumors (ARAAT), operates in theSimon Kramer Institutein conjunction with team President Dr. David Moylan's cancer center.

The proceeds from games go to the Road To Recoverey Fund, which provides free transportation for cancer paitents in Schulykill and Carbon Counties who are unable to drive themselves to treatment or appointments.

The Firedogs The Firedogs had an exciting week, beating the Springfield Slamm and their rivals, the Harrisburg Horizon! Firedogs all the way this year! Next game will be Saturday, Febuary 10th, at 7:00PM against the New Jeresy Bullets. Next game will be Saturday Feburary 17th at 7:00PM vs Morris Revolution.

From The East:
Interstate 78 West to exit 9 (Route 61 N) to Pottsville. Turn right onto route 209. Go 4 miles to New Philadelphia. Take a left onto Clay Street. Go to top of hill, turn left onto Alliance Street. Continue straight, enter grounds of Simon Kramer Institute. Arena is on the right side of building.
From North:
I-81 south to exit 36. Take route 61 to Pottsville, to route 209. Go 4 miles to New Philadelphia, follow the Directions above.
From South:
I-81 to exit 36. Take Route 61 to Pottsville, to route 209, turning left on to route 209. Follow Directions above.
