Season Highlights
11/24/99
We are extremely excited about the way the season is shaping up.  With returning varsity lettermen and team leaders Haritan, Feist, Warner, Smith, Stack, Torres, Chisari, and Chacon, the team looks for a strong showing.  Tournament finals should be frequented by this group.  Great Luck Greyhounds!

A sound thumping is the only way to describe what happened to Bishop Moore when they came to the Hound's House. Spurred by a 44 second pin by Pablo Chacon, the Hounds proceeded to pin 10 in a row to hand the Hornets a 63-15 Loss.
12/6/99
The Greyhounds went into the East Lake Invitational missing four key starters from the lineup. Dan Stack proved to be a tough wrestler and came up as the teams only Champion, pinning his way through the tournament. A third from Troy Feist, Marc Torres, and Daniel Smith along with a great showing from Pablo Chacon, Ben Chisari, and Marc Miranda..... all scoring some key points for the team along the way, kept the 9 man team towards the top of the heap. Impressive also was the fact that Marc Torres and Daniel Smith had to fight all the way through the consi's to pull out a third after tough first round losses. Great Job Greyhounds!!!
12/9/99
A weak lineup due to injuries and missing starters again proved ill for the Hounds. Gateway looked tough going in and got tougher as the meet went on. Marshall Smith, Troy Feist, and Dan Stack pulled out tough fought wins to score the only Greyhound points of the night. Soon the Hounds will be back at full strength, then.......Watchout. Congratulations to the Panthers and Good Luck!

The Greyhounds went into the Winter Springs Duals with hopes of just having a good showing. The Hounds quickly showed a great deal of tenacity as they defeated Seminole, Lk Howell and defeated Winter Springs to take third. The Hounds suffered their only loss of the Tournament to Edgewater. Great Job Greyhounds!

The Greyhounds continued to impress with a strong showing at the Bill Scott/Lyman Christmas Invitational. A very tough field led by powerhouse Edgewater, University, Winter Springs, and Miami Palmetto gave us all the competition we needed. Congrats to Troy Feist for being the 152 Lyman Invitational Champion. Also placing were Dan Stack-215 Runner Up, John Haritan-160 4th, Marc Torres-6th 145, Marshall Smith-135 6th, Pablo Chacon-125 5th, and Daniel Smith-103 6th. The team placed 7th overall while missing Stuart Warner from the lineup. Good Job Hounds!

The Central Florida Duals provided some incredibly tough competition for the Greyhounds. Placing 7th with a 3-3 record was quite respectable. The team defeated Cypress Creek, Mauldin SC, and Greenville TN and lost to St.Cloud, University and Aztec NM. Individaul Placers were Dan Stack and Troy Feist, each with 5-1 records for the tournament and each placing third in their weight classes.

Team Runner-Up! The first team trophy for this team to display in a few years came as a great accopmlishment and measuring stick for the future of the team. Led by veterans and individual Champions Troy Feist, Marshall Smith, and runner up Marc Torres and Ben Chisari, the Hounds kept nipping at the heels of Team Champion Gateway. Also placing were 3rd placers Pablo Chacon and Dan Stack. Although Gateway eventually ran away with the team title, they always knew we were there.

The Greyounds went into the Oveido gym with confidence and came out victorious in a (tighter than should have been) dual. Winning for the Greyhounds against Oviedo were Daniel Smith, Stuart Warner, Pablo Chacon, Marshall Smith, Ben Chisari, Marc Torres, Troy Feist, Dan Stack and Barry Johnson.
