Peirce Football Club was founded in 1990 when a misguided Chinese duck flying south for the winter landed on Singapore shores, on the banks of Peirce Reservoir. Wandering all alone in a drunken stupor, this big duck met a wannabe quack, or rather a chicken who thought that he was a duck. Being a dumbf*ck, this big duck was taken in by the confused chicken. The dumb duck courted the confused chook at a nearby restaurant called Tuck Wah where they were overwhelmed by the romantic atmosphere, fell in love, spawned a whole lot of confused offspring. The rest is history.....
