Lots of wogs in the centre of town likely to be up for a scrap. Likely to be too much OB and hash in the red light district for any serious scrapping. Better chance of a ruck in the bars around Leidseplein. Milligans is a good pub, but there's loads f English + Irish bars, especially on the Central Station side of the red light district. UTRECHT : not hosting any matches, but its the main railway junction in Holland which anyone on the move will have to pass through. The local firm has got a good reputation and might have a few lads waiting. The place is full of wogs (Moroccans) possibly up for it oo. English pubs - The Copperfield, Mick O'Connells + O'Learys, worth popping into before heading into A'dam, R'dam or Arnhem. THE HAGUE : loads of English here and a good stop-off between A'dam and R'dam, especially if the local N-Side boys are waiting. These are definitely the top firm in Holland and have a lot of bottle considering they are Dutch. Sometimes they come down to the Fiddler & Firkin or O'Caseys to ruck it with us ex-pats. They have connections with Chelsea and will probably be involved in something naughty during the tournament. Half decent red light district near Holland Spoor station. EINDHOVEN : the biggest shithole in Holland and the Oostfront firm are a f---ing joke, famous in Holland for never travelling. Close to the border for the Krauts. Some of the lads from Den Bosch (M-Side) and NAC Breda (probably 3rd best firm in Holland) might give th local firm a much needed hand. Try Queens Pub, Big Ben Bar, Charlies Pub or Lawrence Pub. BREDA : local mob (Vak G) organised enough to possibly meet any lads travelling on train between Eindhoven and Belgium. ROOSENDAAL : best place outside Amsterdam for coffee shops (its right on the border with Belgium and all the Belgians pop up on the train to ge supplies). ROTTERDAM : no white people here, just wogs, and this is going to be like Marseille if England play here. Local SCF lads are the biggest firm in Holland, but too many of them are runners, so don't expect any good rucks. For pubs, try the Grandstand Sports Bar, or els Big Ben, Prince Pub or The Stable. Half-decent red light district near the old docks east of city centre. ALCOHOL : the government has already said it will not use alcohol bans, basically because it would be completely unenforceable (beer is sold like fizzy pop here, in petrol stations, railway station ticket offices, burger vans, chippies, you name it) DRUGS : plenty of coffee shops in all big towns for hash. For charly, whizz and pills you need to ask people inside a coffee shop to point out the local dealer (easy in A'dam, bit harder elsewhere). Buying stuff on the streets is for dickheads who want an expensi e paracetemol or laxative. SEX : legal red light districts in Rotterdam, Hague, Utrecht and Eindhoven as well. Pay about 25 quid for blow job. FOOD : tastes like shit, but the chips + McDonalds are OK. BEER : tastes like piss, but its cheap and does the biz. For all those going to Euro 2000 and need to know a little bit of info regarding Belgium : BRUSSELS : if England play here, its going to be mental, with plenty of cheap ale, very disorganised OB (remember Heysel ? things haven`t improved much since then), large local population of wogs who have done a fair of bit rioting of their own (bit like Marseille) nd a few local firms getting their first chance in ages to try it on with the worlds best. They might like to wear purple Adidas tracksuits but the Anderlecht crew (O-Side + Brussels Casual Service) are fairly big and weigh in as a good up-and-coming mob ho are starting to travel (kicked off in Bologna recently), plus they might support from the smaller BXL boys from RWD Molenbeek, and some out of town mobs from Antwerp and Mechelen (Blok 16). Most of the English and Irish bars are in the EU Quarter near he Berlaymont building (Kittey O`Sheas is the most famous one) to the east of Gare Centrale station, the red light area is around the Gard du Nord station and one of the dodgiest areas on the continent is around Gare du Midi station (wog-land). LIEGE : a real shithole depressed mining + steel town, a bit like Sheffield, which can just about scrape together a firm (Hell Side), though the local wogs (loads of Turks + Italians) will probably put on a better show in this rough city. Supposed to be famous fo its bars, but I don`t know much about any English ones. A short trip (40 mins) on the train from Cologne for the Krauts, if they have the bottle to come across. BRUGES : millions of pubs (must be some English ones, but I`ve never found them) and bound to attract 40K+ England fans if we play here. The local firm, Bruges Casual Firm, are number 2 in Belgium and have come a long way in recent years and might at last be able o put up a fight, especially if their Den Haag mates come down. Wouldn`t be surprised to see the BCF teaming up with another country to fight Anderlecht. Local Antwerp mob might pop down too. OSTEND : loads of allnight bars and an ideal base for the rest of Belgium, but OB might be a bit on top of things after the kick-off before the Lens game in 98. Nice beach. ZEEBRUGGE : possible back route into Belgium with a few bars and decent beach a short walk from the ferry if Bruges gets too heavy. ANTWERP : thanks to the local council pissing about, Belgium`s 2nd city isn`t hosting a game, so the Royal Antwerp mob will have to do some travelling. They are easily the top firm in Belgium with good numbers, a bit of bottle and claimed Man Utd connections, who a e up there with any of the Dutch lot. A pitiful red light district by the docks just north of the city centre. CHARLEROI : Belgium`s answer to Barnsley, with a few more wogs. A real shithole to end up in and only a bunch of jokers called White Army for a firm. BEER : cheap, tastes OK, available everywhere (not just from pubs, but burger vans + petrol stations as well) and I don`t think the authorities will be thinking about alcohol bans FOOD : not bad, the chips are tops. DRUGS : pop across to Maastricht, Roosendaal or Breda for coffee shop supplies. Border controls don`t exist between Belgium + Holland, but the police sometimes do checks on routes they expect hooligans to be travelling. You can try and score around Central Statio in Antwerp or Gare du Nord in Brussels, but don`t expect Dutch quality. SEX : Brussels is OK if you are desperate, Antwerp if you`re really struggling. Save it for Amsterdam ! OB : f---ing clueless. BACK ROUTES : the sneakiest route is to go in via Luxembourg, where there are no border controls and too many crossings for the police to run checks if there is a big match on. No longer any border controls with Germany or France either, but you can guarantee OB will b doing checks here during the tournament. |

In total there where about 250 Chicago supporters representing the Chicago Ultras(Polish nationals), the Inner City Firm(now Urban Service) and the more mainstream Barnburners.Lets just say that tho e Sheep Shaggin' farmers had no Idea what hit them. We scuffled with security, lit off flairs, had a few punch ups, and tor up there stadium.All minor stuff I know, but took them completly by surprise.We even made the papers. The Columbus dispatch read " hicago fans take over Columbus stadium". We also did a lot of intelligence work to find these Z-side lads for a ruck, but guess what: they don't fucking exsist. We we're told by some unfortunate locals that after getting so much abuse on this web site the ran scared and called it a day. So this is an open invite to all Columbus hard men that want a little pay back for that fateful day we tore up their pretty new stadium. We'll be back on April Fools day and we'll be looking for you. I follow MLS when I get chance because its on tv in the early hours here, my favourite team is Columbus Crew, I am visiting Columbus in Feb'99 but I am dissapointed that the team is on a winter break, I would have hoped to have gone to one of their games. I have plans to return in June-July, therefore I will try to catch a Crew game then. Keep up the good work next season Columbus, rem mber a good atmosphere is worth a goal to the home team.
