Super Bowl Sunday House Card Report

Hello, everyone! Eric C. Wilson here with the latest HOUSE CARD REPORT!!! Yes, there actually was a house card. AFW always has house cards, just not all of them are reported to you fans out there on the internet! Well that's soon going to change as I have been made House Card reporter for the AFW WEB SITE!!! WAAHHOOO!!!! Anyways, AFW put on a GREAT house show yesterday in San Diego, California! I know, you're probably thinking "Why would AFW have a house show on SUPER BOWL SUNDAY in the SAME CITY AS THE SUPER BOWL?!! ARE THEY NUTS?!!!". Well, we aren't nuts! You see, this house show, wasn't just a wrestling show, it was like a cross from a wrestling show and A GIANT SUPER BOWL PARTY!!!!! There was a BIG SCREEN TV THAT SHOWED THE SUPER BOWL!!! Instead of just selling AFW merchandise and those giant fingers, they sold AFW AND SUPER BOWL MERCHANDISE!!! It was the COOLEST house show I've EVER seen. I think even the wrestlers DURING THEIR MATCHES would stop every now and then to watch the Super Bowl!! IT WAS GREAT!!!

Violence vs. Maverick

The first match featured two more wrestlers who plan to vie for the light heavyweight title, that being Violence and Maverick. Violence attacked Maverick before the bell, stunning him with a couple of reverse DDTs. He tried to finish Mav off with a reverse superplex, but Maverick sneaked over Violence's back and caught him with a drop kick to the back of the head. Two more drop kicks sent the New Anti AFW Order US tag team champion reeling over the top rope. VP Robert D was there, yelling that it should have been an over the top rope disqualification, although no such rule exists in AFW to the best of my knowledge.

Maverick showed his own daredevil attitude, leaping over the ropes at Violence with a springboard into dropkick. He followed up with a hurraconrana on the floor, then leapt on the top guard rail, then back on Security with a flying superkick!

The action rolled back into the ring, where Maverick nearly got the pinfall, but Violence fought back with a powerslam, then an inverted DDT. After continuing to soften Maverick up, he placed Maverick on the top rope, and stunned him with a belly to belly suplerplex.

Violence called out for Robert D to set the chair up, obviously wanting to go for his finisher the "Violent Disrupter" already in the match.

However, Maverick caught Violence in a rollup, and got a two and a half count from it. He tried to follow up with a rollup, but Violence held onto the ropes, and Maverick hit hard. As he got to his feet, Violence levelled him with a powerful lariat, and followed up with a camel clutch.

After almost a full minute, Maverick got back to his feet, with Violence still trying to hold on to the maneuver, and SOMEHOW managed to reverse it into a modified diamond stunner.

He hit Violence with a power bomb, a DDT, superplex, and a moonsualt into leg drop, but only got the two count, to the amazement of the crowd. Maverick wrapped on an air tight figure four leg lock, and it took Violence fourteen gruelling Seconds to make it to the ropes.

Soon after, Maverick was on the top rope, and went for a flying cross body, but Violence, bad knee and all, managed to catch Maverick in mid air. The force of the move, however, sent him stumbling backwards with Maverick in his hands, and both men crashed into the referee.

This allowed VP Robert D to toss a chair into the ring. To his shock, Maverick almost managed to powerbomb Violence onto the very chair Robert D has just thrown into the ring, but V rolled through the move, and came up piledriving Violence on the chair.

Violence was stunned, but quickly got his wits together, placed the very dazed Maverick on the top rope, and dropped him with a modified DDT onto the chair; the Violent Disrupter, as he calls it. He got the chair out of the way, and pinned Maverick for the easy one-two-three. Violence is still just beginning to make an impact on the sport and is a force to be reckoned with in the future.

** Winner: Violence via Violent Disruptor **

Pessimist vs. Stefan

In addition, the Pessimist of the mysterious clique Shades of Gray took on Suicidal Ones hopeful Stefan. The match was hard fought from the beginning, with Stefan using his almost twenty pound weight advantage over the two hundred ten pound Pessimist. He got a two count after a powerbomb, but noticed Wilde Tanke out of the corner of his eyes.

Wilde never approached the ring, just stood watching Stefan pound his partner with a slight smile on his face. Stefan hold up a hand and shooed Wilde off, and Wilde left, but Pessimist got back on the offence.

He nailed Stefan with a drop kick to the back of the head, which sent Stefan flying over the top rope, then jumped on Stefan with a flying cross body from the top rope.

Both men were stunned, and recovered about the same time, trading suplexes and body slams on the floor.

The match moved back to the ring, where Stefan again took control, pounding on the Pessimist and nearly forcing him to submit to a devastating Boston crab.

But Pessimist fought back out of the move, only to fall prey to a bear hug. He then set Pess up for a quick double arm DDT, his finisher, but the Pessimist reversed it into a backdrop, and took control of the match, stunning Pessimist with a powerful body slam. Pessimist kept the action at full speed, with an assortment of DDTs, suplex variations, and a couple of moonsaults to almost get a three count on Stefan.

However, the match soon turned to outside the ring, where Pessimist jumped at Stefan with an attempted spinning leg lariat from the ring apron at Stefan, who was seemingly dazed at ringside. However, Stefan managed to move in the nick of time, leaving Pessimist to crash into the guard rail.

Seeing Pessimist obviously ready for the kill, Stefan performed his finisher, the double arm DDT, outside the ring area, leaving Pessimist stunned. However, that wasn't enough, as he yelled, "Watch this!" and nailed Pessimist with a chair shot to the head, then to the back, before tossing him in and performing his finisher once again. Pessimist was prey to an easy 1-2-3 by Stefan, who in this reporter's eyes might be up for a light heavyweight title shot in the near future.

** Winner: Stefan via Double Arm DDT **

Jammin vs. Tire

This was a great match between the two vetrans. Back and forth, back and forth it went. At one point Master, er sorry, Cashier came down to watch but didn't get involved. Both executed some great moves, but AFW's "Franchise" proved too much. Jammin hit his patented HeadSpike 15 minutes into the match and got the 1-2-3. Suicidal Ones are on a roll!

** Winner: Jammin via the HeadSpike **

Suicide vs. Ring Deacon

Yet another great fight between to of the finest these two feds have to offer. Ring Deacon dominated most of the match, however the tides turned when 'Cide countered the Doctor Bomb into a backdrop. Deacon was off target from there. Suicide won yet again with the Suicidal Dream and NWICW's "Franchise" submitted rather quickly. Good match between these two superstars. In my opinion, Suicide deserves a title shot.

** Winner: Suicide via Suicidal Dream **

Menace 2 Society vs. The HellHounds

Well then we witnessed some hot tag-team action with Menace to Society onto the NAAO's former world tag team champions the HellHounds, after the two teams had there words some actual wrestling got underway with Fishbrain and Reaper starting out. Reaper got the quick advantage by connecting with several sharp blows to the abdomen. After around 5 minutes of punishment by the HellHounds tides turned as Unity came in the ring without tagging and clobbered Psycho over the head with a powerful forearm.

The next 12 minutes were dominated by the notorious M2S with several top rope combinations, finally Fishbrain hit Reaper with a huge spinebuster and went for the pin he got a two count, then Psycho went up top and hit Fishbrain with a flying dropkick, Fishbrain holding his neck was like bleeding in the sea with sharks around. Reaper getting back up on his feet slapped on a Reverse Neck Breaker and floored Fishbrain.

Unity was busting for the tag but Fishbrain was hurt, the HellHounds worked on Fishbrain for another 5 or so minutes, Reaper went for the pin and almost had a 3 count but Unity went up top and hit Reaper with a flying elbow drop, that blew Psycho's fuse and he came in so it turned into a four man brawl.

Fishbrain accidentally connected with a punch to the ref and he was out, Psycho pulled out a chair and wacked Fishbrain with it, Fishbrain in a lot of pain was just lying on the ground when the backup ref came in he put Fishbrain in with Reaper, Reaper went up top to finish it off when Unity shook the ropes so Reaper took a major wedge, Fishbrain took advantage of the situation and climbed up to the top rope and delivered a Superplex.

That took a lot out of Reaper as Fishbrain tired out just had one move left he hit Reaper with a falling splash and got the three count, M2S ran out and headed back to the locker rooms!

** Winner: M2S via Falling Splash by Fishbrain **

Security vs. Maximus Ordicus - Non Title

The Main Event was a non-title match Security vs the great Maximus Ordicus, Security took the early advantage with a series of bodyslams followed up by fists and Legdrops, Max turned it when he back body dropped a attempted DDT by Security Max used his strength to execute several power maneuvers, Max got a 2 count when he shocked Security with an Inverted powerbomb, Max a little shocked that Security got up so quickly made himself vulnerable so Security clotheslined the World Champ over the top rope.

Security went outside where he met a boot in the face from Max then followed up by a ride into the steps, Security got busted open and got some blood in his eyes so he was disabled for a moment, Max put Security back in the ring and executed a Vertical Suplex and followed up by a leg drop and then a cover for the 2 count, Security wiped the blood out of his eyes but that didn't stop Max's onslaught Max hit him with a Russian Legsweep picked him up and then a bodyslam.

30 minutes into the match the tides turned as Security dodged a clothesline and turned it into a back suplex, Security then put Max in a Sammartino Backbreaker which he kept on for several minutes, It was almost over when Security hit Max with a choke slam but he didn't pin Max instead he flung Max into the ropes and Max flew at him Security dodged the Clothesline and made Max submit with a sleeper hold!

** Winner: Security via Sleeper Hold **

After that match, there were still a few seconds left in the Super Bowl. After that, Prez Jack, who by the way was with Denver all the way, came out celebrating. He said "Aw YEEAH!! DENVER WON BABY!!!". Of course since Green Bay was the favored team, there was a lot of booing. But there were a few cheers also. Jack celebrated some more and talked about the house card. After he was done, everyone stayed for awhile and AFW through this HUGE Post-Super Bowl party. IT ROCKED!!!! Well, that was the house card report. Hope you liked it. I'm Eric C. Wilson, signing off.
