The development of the biotechnology has taken very important dimensions, with the Biophysics as a fundamental pillar of this new area.

Our main research in the Biophysics is in a direct connection with the Physics application in the agriculture. We study hydroponic crops in greenhouse with automated control of physical parameters. The automatization is carried out by means of microprocesors designed and created by our group members using our own technology.


Additionally, in our group we pay a considerable attention to the formation of professionals, which would be able to face and solve problems of the country and the community.
