Nothing much to say about today's games, only saw the end of the
first one (playing cricket in the office) and the Spain game was a
bore draw. The match stats say there were 14 shots on target, 10 off
target, 20 blocked shots and 18 corners which doesn't sound that bad.
And maybe it wasn't, but we were in the pub (the White Horse on
Newburgh Street near London's legendary swinging Carnaby Street),
where the company and the beer were more engaging than the 'action'.
The feast of football is overwhelming some, and it'll take the
knockout stages to bring us back to a truly feverish state and make
us feel like we're dancing on the ceiling.
