Led by his 7th round draft pick Jake Delhomme, Mike Tubman finally overtook Matt Fury and won the 5th installment of the Ricockulous Playoff Fantasy Football League with a near-record 206 points. (Kirk Walton set the record last year with 209, but there were only 9 teams in last year.) "I was getting pretty nervous when the game was 25 minutes old and Carolina hadn't moved the ball forward yet," a relieved Tubman said from the Fanball.com offices. "Then someone flipped the offensive switch and it was all over but the cryin'." Doing the cryin' was Fury, who was hoping beyond hope that Steve Smith would be able to hold a 7 point lead over Delhomme and two others. "This just fits in with the rest of this fantasy season," Fury mused. "A whole lot of finishing 2nd, and not a title to show for my efforts. At least fantasy NASCAR is coming up." The big mover of the week was Chris Baxter who scored 51 points to move onto the medal stand in 3rd place. "Yeah, it was nice watching the guys score," Baxter said after the game. "If Stephen Davis would've done something, I really could've made it interesting. Oh well, I got to see boobs."

Ben Peterson was a victim of having nobody play in the game, as the two teams behind him leapfrogged him and put the big guy down into last. "F***in' Marshall Faulk," was the only comment Peterson could be reached for.
