A former Hednesford Town goalkeeper who was formerly with Walsall and Sunderland and also played for the British Universities. Joined the "Pitmen" as Manager midway through the 1990/91 season and has since led them to the Finals of the Welsh, Staffs Senior and Birmingham Senior Cups plus the Beazer Homes League (Premier Division) Championship. John received the Mail on Sunday Manager of the Month Award for August/September 95 and for January 1997, though Hednesford didn't play a conference game during the month, following his leading Hednesford on it's FA Cup run to the Fourth Round against Middlesbrough.
Rejoined Hednesford in September 1997 to take up the post of Coach. Steve is an experienced player with over 330 football league games to his credit having seen service with Wolves, Derby County, Stockport County and Hereford United.
94/95 close season signing from Peterborough Utd who he joined from Bromsgrove Rovers. Spent time out on loan during 93/94 at Stalybridge Celtic and Welling Utd.

Experienced player who started out at Shrewsbury Town and went on to play for Boldmere, Rushall, Alvechurch, Burton Albion, Stourbridge and Kidderminster Harriers where he gained an FA Trophy medal. Voted both players and supporters player of the year in 1993/4. He has made some 300 appearances for the club. Had his testimonial year in 1997/98.
Signed from West Bromwich Albion. Comyn's career has spanned Aston Villa who sold him to Derby for £200,000 and Plymouth before arriving at W.B.A. Albion had offered him a two year contract but he decided to take up the offer of Hednesford. An excellent defender.
Former Stoke City and Southend United signed for Hednesford 97/98 the week after playing for Southend in their 1-0 defeat over Fulham.
Joined the club from Kidderminster in January 1998. Chris returns to Hednesford, where he stated his career, after serving time at Wolves, Telford and Kidderminster.

A 1997 closed season signing from Wolverhampton Wonderers where hs was one of the most popular figures gaining Northern Ireland International Caps. Also played for West Bromwich Albion. Robbie didn't perform as well as expected in the 1997/98 season but hopefully he'll show his ability in the 1998/99 season.
1994/95 season supporters player of the year. Joined the club after playing professionally in Sweden and has also turned out for Leicester City, Moor Green and VS Rugby. A former Eire under 20 International. Voted Player of the Year by fans and players for 1997/98 season.

Tough tackling midfielder who came to Hednesford from Walsall. Can also play in defence. Brought up locally to Hednesford he has powerful throwing arms.
Signed from Stafford Rangers in 1990 after a spell at Lye Town. "Super Joe" has been the club's leading scorer in 1995/96 where he scored 23 goals goals in the Vauxhall Conference, 1994/5, 1992/3 and 1990/1 when he was also the Beazer Homes League "Golden Boot" winner. and was voted supporters player of the year in 1990/1, 1992/3 and 1995/96 and players player of the year in 1994/5. The club granted him a testimonial year for 1996/97. Was called up for the England Semi-Professional squad in 1997. Was the outstanding player in FA cup matches 1997/98 and 98/99 season against the likes of Blackpool, Middlesbrough and Hull.
Purchased from West Bromwich this season (97/98). In one of his first games he scored our only goal against Kettering on January 1st 1998
A 1997 closed season signing from Stockport County. Previously with Stoke City making 155 League and Cup appearances. Best known for his "Brazilian Banana" goal against Carlisle in the 1995/96 season.
