A Little Advice!

I started weightlifting 4 years back, because I wanted to improve myself, I wanted to be good at something, It took a lot of sacrifice but it was worth it. Many people may start exercising because they want to go see people at the gym, or because they want to atract more girls or guys, absolutely nothing wrong with that, but donīt make that your priority, think that if you have health you can do anything else. If you really want to get in shape you must really desire it, that means checking your food habits, stop partying so much, no alcohol, no cigarettes, and a great will to maintain your discipline.I know that many people are not interested in developing a great body or a great physic just want to be in good shape that is perfect, practice any sport and have fun with it. The biggest advice I can give you is: anything you do, do it for yourself, donīt try to please the girls/guys or the society, I think you must be convinced of that. When you workout try to be as humble as possible, in that way you will be able to perform the exercise in perfect form. I know how it works, a new guy enters the gym and at first he follows every indication of his trainer, but with time he realizes that the other guys lift a lot more, so he starts to get intimidated, something is wrong he thinks, and his reaction is to start loading, now he have lost equilibrium, oh sure he is lifting a little more but his muscles are training less, is not the weight you lift but the way you do it,in fact you'll train less with more weight.. uh?? just think of this: I can lift 200 pounds twice, of course I have to give my greatest effort, but there is no burn, my muscle canīt do a third repetition with that weight but it can do another 10 with 120 pounds, so the key to get bigger is the intensity of the training not the weight, keep that on mind, I sure admire more a person who is sweating like a horse and almost green lifting a 100 pounds press than a person lifting 250 pounds with almost no effort,i know is hard you'll try many diets and many of them won't show any result at all, but you must persevere, come one I did it, I was a really thin guy but I remember to be the most dedicated in the gym, for a long time I didnīt see any results but now I just feel great. If you are thinking in taking sterols, DONīT, nothing is for free you'll later see the damage you have caused to your body (I will have a page on that issue). In my site you'll find a little of everything to improve your health, you donīt have time to train?, you are not interested in training? ok, then just try to change your food habits you'll see a great improvement in your condition.
