Interview with Na Brown, Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver.
Hello, Na, all of us in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area are anxiously following the Eagles this year. You are all doing better this year than at any time in recent memory. To what do you attribute this success?
Well, we've got a great quarterback in McNabb, and until recently a super running back in Duce Staley. Also, our defensive unit has been living up to it's reputation.
Yes, I have to agree with that. How about yourself personally. This is your first year in the starting lineup.
Well, I couldn't have done it without hard work, perseverance, and the support of my family.
Speaking of your family, isn't Na a bit of an unusual name?
No, not at all. In fact, I have a brother with the same name.
Two Na's in the family?
Yes, that's right - and another one named Sha. Not to mention my sister Boomba.
Huh?
And my mother Jammah and my father Oh.
I don't get it...

Weeks 6 - 11:

commentary

This is a combined commentary for all 6 weeks

I have noticed a lot of ups and downs these last few weeks. The stars dependable for double-digit points have gotten injured, or the defenses key on them, and are not what they once were. The "new" stars that inevitably emerge are inconsistent and unpredictable. And there are a few pleasant surprises as well. Kurt Warner gets a broken pinky - but Terrell Owens scores and scores. Trent Green backs up Warner and does just fine. Dorsey Levens hobbles and hobbles and is finally out for the season - but Jerome 'the bus' Bettis is back to his old form! Newcomers like Jimmy Smith, Sean Dawkins, Lavuernes Coles, and Jaquez Green still aren't dependable. Troy Brown also shows promise, but the NE offense is on the skids. Ricky Williams is out. Marshall Faulk is kinda out. We still got some time left - who will make it and who won't? More importantly, whose team will stay healthiest?
Week 11 - FIRST LOSS by Sean - are the Amoebas in trouble?
Notable guys to watch out for - Matt, Dave, and Paul. Any of them could sneak into the playoffs.
Dave is on an incredible 6 game winning streak after going 1 and 4 for the first 5 games
