"8/25/99 Announcement"

DARC - Dallas Athletic & Rugby Club

DARC is the merger of the two clubs formally known as Dallas Our Gang and Dallas Blues. Both clubs were well established and competitive in DIV II. However, through discussions this summer, we came to the realization that a much stronger, competitive club could be formed through the merger of both. DARC will complete as a DIV II A club playing the former Dallas Blues cup schedule. The new DARC officers are as follows;

President - Stephen Braxton
Executive VP - Steve Rollo
VP of Operations - Jason Swick
Secretary - John Meskunas
Treasurer - Chris Smith
Match Secretary - K.C. Kinney
Coach - Des Kirkwood

DARC looks forward to the competition over the coming years. We Hope that this merger will do its part in enhancing the level of rugby in TRU.

Practices are being held at Tietze Park in Dallas. Skillman at Vanderbilt - We Have Lights!!
Tuesdays and Thursdays
