Respect to Kevin White, Tamla Matthews, and
Dwayne Morgan for the work that they did in the play 'Memphis' this past summer. If you
weren't able to check Memphis out, you missed out on a really good thing.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the live recording of the
new Dwayne Morgan poetry album. Once the second phase of the album
production is complete, we'll let you know when it will be scheduled for
release, as well as the details on the album release party.
The Roots Lounge, our open mic and poetry slam, has now moved to the fourth
Sunday of each month, from the second and fourth Wednesday. It is still
being held at Southern Po Boys (159 Augusta Ave. in Toronto).
We're closing in on the end of our sixth year, and we want to thank you all for all of
