2000-01
- In a preseason game against the Edmonton Oilers, Redden bruised his right hand in a fight against Mike Grier.
- Matched his career high of 10 goals, and recorded 37 assists for the season.
- Wade got his first goal of the season against Florida on October 28, 2000.
1999-00
- Redden's name appeared on the All-Star Game ballot for the first time.
- Wade got his first goal of the season against Toronto on October 9, 1999. Final Score: 4-3 for Ottawa.
- Redden is assistant captain for the Ottawa Senators
- Wade signed a two year contract worth 3.6 million. He will receive 1.6 million for the first year and 1.9 million for the next.
1998-99
- October 10, Wade scored his first goal of the season against the Colorado Avalanches (it was the game winning goal). Final Score: 4-3.
- December 3, Wade got a game misconduct after fighting with Kings O'Donnell at 19:36.
- February 15, Redden had his first two-goal game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Final Score: 6-2 Sens!
- March 6, Wade is sidelined for a shoulder injury (1st degree seperation) received during the March 4th game against the Flyers.
- Wade got 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) in the Stanley Cup Playoffs against Buffalo (series 4-0 for Buffalo)

November 27, scored second goal of the season against the Washington Capitols.
- April 28, Alfredsson scored a hat trick against New Jersey Devils to bring the playoff series 3-1, Woo Hoo!.(all right, it has nothing to do with Wade, but they were great goals)
- May 2, beat New Jersey Devils and won series (4-2). Wade was benched with a groin injury
- May 7, benched with a groin injury against first game with the Cap's(lost 4-2)

Named Rookie of the month for April 1997
Wade Redden got three points and was a +6 in seven games for that month. Wade got an assist against Buffalo (2-0 win), he scored his fifth goal of the season against Pittsburg on April 5 (lost 5-2) and his sixth goal of the season, in a 3-2 win at Detroit on April 11.
