Hi. I'm
SteelHead. This is a Picture of me on Game day.. I decided to go see a
Steelers Game. Of Course I live in Dallas Tx and It makes it a Little Difficult
to get to. But as the Saying goes " Where there is a will, There is a Way".
This is a Picture of me and some other Steelers Fans that I meet at the
Game. Which one am I??? I'm wearing the # 82 Jersey.
This Picture was taken at Cinncy. Yes Drove from Texas to Ohio
to see the Steelers play. Had a Blast. We got to the Stadium at 9:00 am.
for a 1pm Game. We got lucky and Parked in the Steelers Parking lot.
At first there weren't to many people there , But as time wore on the Parking
lot slowly began to fill. There is nothing like watching Bus load after
Bus load of people wearing Black and Gold getting off busses. By 11:30
the Parking lot was full of Busses and Cars. Black and Gold as Far as the
eye could see.If you have never been to a Steelers Game it's unbelievable!!
To walk around a Parking lot Filled with Black and Gold. Hearing the Chant's
of "Here we Go Steelers.... Here we Go" Truly a stirring Feeling.
As for the Game. Fantastic. That was the Game Carnell chased
Pickens down and knocked the Ball out. It was an amazing site. Cinergy
Field, Awash in a Sea of Black and Gold. Terrible Towels as far as the
eyes could see. There must have been over 20,000 Steelers Fans there. To
see all the Terrible Towels waving and Hearing the Chant's. The Steelers
Fans drowned out the Bengals fans. But it wasn't until the 4th quarter
that the Steelers Fans came alive. The PA system was playing the Bengals
fight song, you heard a Low rumble starting at the Field Level working
it's way out and across the Stadium The Chant of Here we go Steelers Here
we go!!,(STOMP) (STOMP). Soon it grew in to a Stadium Rocking Chant that
Drowned out the Stadium PA system. The Steeler Players on the Sidelines
where leading the Chant on. You could see them waving their arms to bring
this Steelers crowd to a Frenzy.
The Best Part of the whole day was yet to come. After the Game,
we headed to where the Steelers Parked their Busses. The usual autograph
thing. It was a Madhouse. Did I get any. Got some good ones. I am now the
Proud owner of an Autographed Yancy Thigpen Jersey. Got to Meet Mike Vrabel,
Dirt, Quinn, Lake,Yancy, and a Few other Steelers. Best Part of the Whole
night was The "CHIN". Mr Cowher is a Class act. As he came walking out
of the Stadium He was smiling and waving to all the Fans. Everybody was
screaming at him for autographs. He Stops and Raises his Hands. The Crowd
quieted and He announced that he would be Back. He outs his bag on the
Bus and Pulls out 3 Sharpies. He started at one end and worked his way
through about 400 Steelers Fans waiting for Autographs. Truly a Class act.
This page will change from time to time. This is my info on me page.Keep checking Back to see what I've been up to and see more pic's of my trip to Cinncy.
