FREDERICTON JUDO CLUB

Welcome to the homepage of the Fredericton Judo Club. The main focus of this webpage is to provide information to our members and to provide the general public with some idea of what Judo is all about. We would welcome ideas and comments from all Judoka.

We will list the events that we plan to attend and the results of each.

Tournaments attended and the results

The Fredericton Judo Club is a member of JudoNB which is the governing body for Judo in New Brunswick Canada . Judo NB is affiliated with Judo Canada and Sport Canada

At the Fredericton Judo Club we incorporate techniques and training methods for Judo with modern sport training techniques that are part of the National Coaching Certification Program.

This Club is also part of the International Judo federation umbrella as well as being affiliated to the Kodokan International Judo Centre in Tokyo, Japan. For an in-depth look at Judo you will find more information on the Judo History page.

• Fred Blaney - senior club instructor - Holds a 5^th degree black belt (Godan)
• Mike Hetherington - Junior class senior instructor- Holds 3^rd degree black belt (Sandan)
• Dave Cheverie - holds 3^rd degree black belt (Sandan)
• Mike Sharpe - holds 1^st degree black belt (Shodan)
• Mike Hounsell - holds brown belt (Ikkyu)
• Kevin Lemon- holds brown belt (Ikkyu)

Our Dojo is located in the South Gym on the UNB campus Fredericton N.B.. Our hours of practice are as follows:

Monday - 7pm to 8pm juvenile class

8pm to 9:15pm senior class

7pm to 9:15pm senior beginners class

Tuesday - 7pm to 8pm juvenile class

8pm to 9:15 pm senior class

7pm to 9:15pm senior beginners class

Wednesday - 7pm to 8pm junior class

7pm to 8pm juvenile class

8pm to 9:15pm senior class

Thursday - 7pm to 8pm juvenile class
