Martina will play Lisa Raymond in the quarter finals in a repeat of Sunday's final at Filderstadt, after Lisa suprised fifth-seeded Amanda Coezter.

Martina has decided to donate $75,000 dollars to a vaccination program aimed at eradicating polio in Ethiopia, the World Health Organization said today. This just proves to everyone what all of us Martina fans knew and loved about Martina -- she's a thoroughly nice and generous person!

Martina delighted her Swiss fans by playing her first match in her home country since becoming world #1. She played a superb match as she destroyed the French Anne-Gaelle Sidot 6-3 6-2. She is now into the quarter finals.
