Furbys Death arrived?

UPDATE!:-  It seems this may be true, for now.  Dave Hampton has posted here that production of Furby has been stopped.  Also, a computer chip that is used in Furby is being discontinued.  Because the chip is no longer going to be produced, I doubt that Furby will ever come back.

It seems Furby's future may be over.  Furbys that you can find in shops (if your lucky) are made of spare parts left over in the factories.  This means you'll be seeing Furbys in shops that don't look normal.  Back when Furby was popular, these "errors" would have been a rare sight and would sell for hundreds on eBay and other Auctions, nowdays they barely go for anything more then US$20.

Furbys are impossible to find in New Zealand shops and also Australian shops, your lucky to find a Shelby now.  Furby Babies used to be everywhere, they too have gone.

So, looks like the sad truth is that Tiger is finished with Furby and any thing like it and we're stuck seeing robotic animals.

New Furby Boxes
Furbys are now being found in a new box.  This box is rectangle and it has new pics, and also mentions that Furby can also talk to Shelby and Furby Babies.

New Website!

After tiring of the constant problems occuring at MSN, Blu and I (both of us Co-Managers of TNPFC) decided to create a non-MSN place where the stories from the community and pictures could be stored in one place, and making it easy for new comers to see whats going on.  The new site has lots of cool pages and can be found here.

KB Weirdos

A whole lot of different looking Furbys are being found at KB Toy shops through out the USA.  These Furbys are actually made up of scraps left around in the factories.  These scraps are put together and then put in a new look box (as described above).  Sometimes this means that fur from one design is added to another design, which ends up being a combination of both.  Most common combination is of a 1st generation grey tux with the belly of a 7th gen silver/yellow Furby.  People call this combination "Sunrise Furby".  Look at the pic below to see what it looks like.  If you'd like one of these "weirdos" have a look at your local KB Toys shop (if you live in the USA) or look at eBay (http://www.ebay.com) where your bound to find them.
