These are problems with Furbys that have been reported.
1) The motor is so loud that it is hard to hear what he says. This is not true, although the motor is a bit loud. You can understand what he says, but he does talk in a different language at first, which may be confusing.
2) There is a strange smell which may be cause by the motor. This is very strange, because this has not happened to mine or most people I've asked. It may be a rumor that is not true.
