Be a part of Big Brothers and Sisters's BIG/bunch Friendship Program

What is the BIG/bunch Friendship Program?

The BIG/bunch Friendship Program is a part of the Big Brother/Big Sister organization. It matches a group of 2 volunteers with a group of 3 to 8 children who are currently on a waiting list to be matched with a Big Brother/Big Sister.

What type of commitment is involved?

The commitment for the Big Bunch program is minimal, it involves taking your littles on an outing every two to three weeks. If one group Big is unable to make an outing, another Big can take their place.

What age group are the children being served?

The children being served by Big Brothers/Big Sisters range in age from six to sixteen.

How much does it cost to be involved in the BIG/bunch Friendhip Program?

Some outings may involve small expenditures but "Bigs" are encouraged to keep spending to a minimum. The service is provided of no charge to the children.

How do Bigs (Volunteers) and Littles (Children) meet?

Members of your Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization carefully "match" volunteers and children. Every effort is made to pair children and adults with similar interests.

How do I become a Volunteer?

To become a volunteer for the BIG/bunch program contact your local agency.
