Miss Teen Oklahoma 2002

The first thing we did after registration on Friday was have a welcome luncheon. My lunch buds from left to right are Danielle, me, Ashley, Brooke, and Brittany.

This is me and Joy, (last years Miss Teen Oklahoma), after the luncheon.

After the luncheon we all went to volunteer at Feed The Children. We boxed up all kinds of food, supplies and toys. I was at the end of the line attempting to tape all of the boxes. Hard job for a blonde!

Ashley was my best friend at the pageant! She is Westmoore Teen USA.

We rehearsed all day Saturday and then Saturday night was the preliminary competition. We danced in a production number and then had to introduce ourselves on stage.

My favorite part of the competition was swimwear. Everyone had to wear a one piece.

The last part of the onstage competition was evening gown.

Interviews started Sunday morning. We spent 5 minutes individually with each judge.

I got a bunch of flowers from my family and friends! Our house looked like a florist shop.
